Jan Paulsen (born 12 February 1967) is a retired badminton player from Denmark.
Paulsen competed in badminton at the 1992 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with Henrik Svarrer. They lost in the quarterfinals to Li Yongbo and Tian Bingyi, of China, 15-11, 12-15, 17-14. [1]

They won gold in 2012 Summer Olympics, 3 golds in BWF World Championships in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and a gold at the 2014 Asian Games. Having won all major events as a pair, they are considered one of the most successful mixed doubles pairs of all time.
