Jane Fletcher (born August 1956) [1] is an English writer of lesbian speculative fiction. Her The Walls of Westenfort won the Golden Crown Literary Society's 2005 "Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Horror / Paranormal / Speculative" award, [2] and her The Empress and the Acolyte won its 2007 Speculative Fiction award. [3] In 2009, she received The Alice B Readers Award for career achievement. [4]
Her Temple Landfall was shortlisted for the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror category of the 18th Lambda Literary Awards in 2006, [5] and her Wolfsbane Winter was shortlisted for the same category of the 23rd Lambda Literary Awards in 2011. [6] Her Lorimal's Chalice was shortlisted for the 2003 Gaylactic Spectrum Award for Best Novel. [7]
Fletcher grew up in south east London, and has a degree in Physics (1980) from the University of Surrey. [1]
Rebecca Ore is the pseudonym of science fiction writer Rebecca B. Brown. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1948. In 1968 she moved to New York City and attended Columbia University. Rebecca Ore is known for the Becoming Alien series and her short stories.

She is a 2003/04 recipient of the Alice B Readers Award for her body of work as well as a member of the Golden Crown Literary Society, Pink Ink, and the Romance Writers of America. In 2014, the Lambda Literary Foundation awarded Barot with the Dr. James Duggins Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist award acknowledging her as an established author with a strong following and the promise of future high-quality work. In 2015 she was a featured author in the award-winning documentary film about the romance writing and reading community, Love Between the Covers, from Blueberry Hill Productions. In 2019 she was named a Trailblazer in Romance by the Romance Writers of America, for her works of LGBTQ+ fiction. In 2021, she was named one of The Advocate's Women of the Year.
Katherine V. Forrest is a Canadian-born American writer, best known for her novels about lesbian police detective Kate Delafield. Her books have won and been finalists for Lambda Literary Award twelve times, as well as other awards. She has been referred to by some "a founding mother of lesbian fiction writing."

Diane Anderson-Minshall is an American journalist and author best known for writing about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender subjects. She is the first female CEO of Pride Media. She is also the editorial director of The Advocate and Chill magazines, the editor-in-chief of HIV Plus magazine, while still contributing editor to OutTraveler. Diane co-authored the 2014 memoir Queerly Beloved about her relationship with her husband Jacob Anderson-Minshall throughout his gender transition.

Golden Crown Literary Society (GCLS) is an American nonprofit organization established in 2004 for those with an interest in Sapphic literature. Since 2005, GCLS has at its annual conference presented Golden Crown Literary Awards (Goldies) to authors and editors in various categories of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and anthologies/collections, as well as for cover design and audiobook narration.

MacGregor served six years on the Board of Trustees of the Lambda Literary Foundation, including two years as board president.
