Jay Odedra (born 5 November 1989) is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the Oman national cricket team. [1] In January 2018, he was named in Oman's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament. [2] He made his List A debut for Oman on 8 February 2018. [3]
In August 2018, he was named in Oman's squad for the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier tournament. [4] In October 2018, he was named in Oman's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament. [5]
In December 2018, he was named in Oman's team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. [6] In February 2019, he was named in Oman's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series in Oman. [7] He made his T20I debut against Ireland on 13 February 2019. [8]
In March 2019, he was named in Oman's team for the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament in Namibia. [9] In July 2019, he was named in Oman's One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2019 Scotland Tri-Nation Series. [10] He made his ODI debut against Papua New Guinea, on 14 August 2019. [11]

The Oman men's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Oman in international matches and is governed by Oman Cricket, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, and gained associate status in 2014. The national side has played matches at the Twenty20 International level. On 24 April 2019, Oman achieved One-Day International status for the first time until 2023, after they beat tournament hosts Namibia by four wickets in 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two.
