Jiří Crha (born April 13, 1950) is a retired Czech professional ice hockey goaltender who played two seasons in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Playing career

Born in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, Crha played for nine seasons in the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League and for his country at the international level, including the 1976 Winter Olympics. [1] He was being signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs as a free agent on February 4, 1980. He remained with the team until 1983, when he went to Germany, where he played until his retirement in 1991. He then served as a player agent, working with players in Czech Republic. [2]

Börje Salming Swedish ice hockey player

Anders Börje Salming, nicknamed "The King", is a Swedish retired professional ice hockey defenceman. He played for Brynäs IF, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Detroit Red Wings, and AIK. Salming was one of the first European players to make an impact in the National Hockey League (NHL), paving the way for future generations of players. He was one of the premier defencemen of his era in the NHL, and was recognized for this by being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1996. Remembered for his many seasons with the Maple Leafs, he holds numerous franchise records, including most assists. Salming also played extensively for Sweden in international play. Roman Polák

Roman Polák is a professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently under contract with HC Vítkovice of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Polák was drafted in the sixth round, 180th overall, just ahead of Garrett Johnson at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues, the organization with which he spent his entire NHL career prior to joining the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2014. He rejoined the Maple Leafs in 2016, after a brief stint with the San Jose Sharks. In the 2018 offseason, Polák signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Stars.
