Joseph Clifford Montana Jr. is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. Nicknamed "Joe Cool" and "the Comeback Kid", Montana is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. After winning a national championship with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Montana began his NFL career in 1979 at San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. With the 49ers, Montana started and won four Super Bowls and was the first player to be named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times. He also holds Super Bowl career records for most passes without an interception and the all-time highest passer rating of 127.8. In 1993, Montana was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played for his last two seasons and led the franchise to its first AFC Championship Game. Montana was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
Joseph T. Johnson is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers. In the 1994 NFL draft, he was selected by the Saints in the first round with the 13th overall pick. He was elected to the Pro Bowl after the 1998 season, missed the entire 1999 season with a severe knee injury that left his career in doubt, but came back in 2000 to once again be named to the Pro Bowl and also named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. In 2002 Green Bay picked him up in free agency and ESPN named him the biggest free agency bust in Green Bay's history. The Packers gave the former Saints defender a six-year, $33 million contract that included a $6.5 million signing bonus. What they got in return was two sacks in 11 games over two injury-filled seasons, before they cut him. He played college football for the Louisville Cardinals. He was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019.
Johnathan Lee Joseph is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft. Joseph also played for the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, and Arizona Cardinals.
Joseph Hayden Thomas is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin, earned unanimous All-American honors, and was recognized as the top college interior lineman. The Browns chose Thomas with the third overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft. He was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first 10 seasons and did not miss a single play in his career until the 2017 season ; his 10,363 consecutive snaps played is the longest streak since the NFL began recording snap counts in 1999. He is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time. In 2023, Thomas was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, becoming the first Cleveland Brown inductee since their reactivation in 1999.
Freddie Joe Nunn was an American professional football player who was a defensive end and linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He spent most of his career with the St.Louis / Phoenix Cardinals and retired as the franchise's all-time sacks leader.
William Leonard Shipp was a professional Canadian football player who played twelve seasons with the Canadian Football League (CFL)'s Montreal Alouettes and the Toronto Argonauts. During those years, he became an eastern conference all-star as an offensive tackle in 1955 and 1959 and as a defensive tackle in 1964. Shipp played all 14 regular season games every year from 1958 to 1962 except 1960 when he missed 5. As a defensive lineman, he intercepted a pass in 1961. He started his pro career in the NFL, playing one season for the New York Giants.
Joseph Webb III is a former American football quarterback. He also played as a wide receiver, kick returner and special teamer. After playing college football for the UAB Blazers, Webb was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft as a quarterback. He also played for the Carolina Panthers, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and New York Giants. Webb holds the NFL record for most tackles by a quarterback with 21.
Adam Joseph Gase is a former American football coach in the National Football League (NFL). He came to prominence as the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos from 2013 to 2014, whose offense set the NFL record for points scored in 2013 and helped the team reach Super Bowl XLVIII. Following this success, Gase served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2016 to 2018 and the New York Jets from 2019 to 2020.
Joseph Patrick Cannavino was an American and Canadian football player who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills. He won the Grey Cup with the Tiger-Cats in 1963. He went to Collinwood high-school in Ohio. He played college football at Ohio State University and was drafted in the 1957 NFL draft by the Baltimore Colts.

Foster Moreau is an American football tight end for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU, and played for the Las Vegas Raiders from 2019 to 2022.
