John Marshall (born October 2, 1945) is a former American football coach. He formerly served as the defensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders from 20092010.

Marshall, a coaching veteran of over 40 years, is mostly associated with coaching linebackers. He earned two Super Bowl rings during his time with the San Francisco 49ers, where he was an assistant.

Marshall coached linebackers for the Detroit Lions in 2002, where he was on the staff of Marty Mornhinweg. Marshall had previously served as defensive coordinator under Steve Mariucci with the San Francisco 49ers in 1997 and 1998.

Brad Lambert is an American college football coach who is currently the co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Purdue University. He was the head coach of the Charlotte 49ers until November 18, 2018, and helped transition the 49ers football program from conception through a two year stint in the Football Championship Subdivision to the Football Bowl Subdivision in 2015, when the program joined the rest of the 49ers' sports in programs in Conference USA.

Gerald A. Azzinaro Jr. is an American football coach. He is currently the defensive coordinator for the UCLA Bruins football team. He played college football as a linebacker at American International College (AIC) and became a graduate assistant for the team in 1982. He was the linebackers and running backs coach for Westfield State in 1985, and he was the head coach for Western New England University in 1986. He was the defensive coordinator for AIC from 1987 to 1991, before becoming the linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator for Massachusetts in 1992. Azzinaro was promoted to defensive coordinator for the Minutemen in 1994, and subsequently moved on to Boston College as the team's defensive line coach in 1995. He was rehired by UMass in 1997 to be their defensive coordinator.

Bill McPherson was an American professional football coach in the National Football League (NFL). He was the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator from 1989 to 1993. He was a coach or front office executive in the 49ers organization from 1979 to 2005 and won five Super Bowls.

Robert Saleh American football coach

He began his career as a defensive assistant, holding his first defensive coordinator position with the San Francisco 49ers from 2017 to 2020. Following the 2020 season, he left the 49ers to become the Jets' head coach.
