Jon Levine is a Canadian record producer, songwriter, and former keyboardist and songwriter for the Philosopher Kings. [1] He has co-written and produced songs for artists such as Dua Lipa, Drake, Alessia Cara, the Struts, Kesha, Aloe Blacc, Little Mix, Becky G, Andra Day, Rachel Platten, Nelly Furtado, Andy Grammer, T-Boz, Avril Lavigne, Bono, Selena Gomez, and Bebe Rexha.

Biography

Jon Levine is a Toronto-born, LA-based, former major label artist-turned producer. After wowing A&R departments with “Losing you to College” and his first two bands “The Grand Facade” and the “Philosopher Kings”, Levine developed Rachel Platten, producing her years before she signed to Columbia and remains her core collaborator. He is the sole producer on her Gold-selling album Wildfire that includes 7x Platinum “Fight Song” and 1x Platinum “Stand By You”. Levine cowrote and produced Dua Lipa’s “Blow Your Mind (Mwah!)”, her first worldwide single that is one of Primary Wave’s most synced contemporary songs to this day. Levine wrote and produced the bulk of The Struts’ 2018 YOUNG&DANGEROUS including the single “Body Talks” ft. Kesha which is the band’s highest-grossing song with twenty sync uses. Levine wrote and produced the band’s new album Strange Days which included collabs with Tom Morello, Albert Hammond Jr, and Robbie Williams.

Levine has assumed the role as Alessia Cara’s producer. This role encompasses producing and writing her EP “This Summer”, creating an original Christmas song “Make It To Christmas,” producing a song for Netflix’s The Willoughbys, and making acoustic and live versions of the EP. Levine produced and wrote three tracks on Avril Lavigne’s new album Head Above Water . Levine produced Andy Grammer’s album Magazines and Novels and has two cuts on Andy’s new album including the single “I Found You” ft. Cash Cash. Jon has produced singles for Bebe Rexha, Lea Michele, Aloe Blacc, Alessia Cara, and Faouzia. He has album cuts on works by Avril Lavigne, Drake, Celine Dion, Little Mix, Sabrina Carpenter, Leona Lewis, Andra Day, Nelly Furtado, and Selena Gomez. Levine’s Dua Lipa "Blow Your Mind (Mwah!)" song was synced with Revlon in 2018, [2] The Struts song was synced with Harley Davidson in 2019 and Budweiser in 2020, and his Bebe Rexha song was synced with Walgreens in 2020.

Levine produced “Lean On Me” performed by Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, and Avril Lavigne to benefit the Canadian Red Cross. JLevineon produced “What The World Needs Now” performed by Smokey Robinson, Tori Kelly, Sam Fischer, and Leona Lewis to benefit the American Red Cross. [3]

The B96 Pepsi SummerBash is an annual concert typically held on a Saturday in June, in the Chicago area. First held in 1992 and presented by Chicago radio station B96, the concert has been title-sponsored by Pepsi in recent years. In 2016, the event was held at Allstate Arena in the suburb of Rosemont. Previously, the event was held at Toyota Park in Bridgeview from 2006 to 2015. In 2006, the SummerBash was the first non-soccer event held at the stadium.
