2022 Jordanian Premier Basketball League |
The Jordanian Premier Basketball League is a professional basketball league in Jordan. It is the top league in the country with the second-tier league going by the name of First Division. There are six teams competing in the 2022 league: Al Ahli, Al Riyadi , Orthodox Club, Kufryouba, Jubeha, and Al Ashrafyeh.

Hamzah bin Al Hussein, is the fourth son of King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan overall and the first by his American-born fourth wife, Queen Noor al-Hussein. He was named Crown Prince of Jordan in 7 February 1999, a position he held until his older half-brother, King Abdullah II, rescinded it in 28 November 2004. He is a member of the Hashemite dynasty, the royal family of Jordan since 1921, and is a 41st-generation direct descendant of Muhammad.

Today, there is a minority of about 60,000 people in the country who are the descendants of the Ottoman-Turkish immigrants. Zain Basketball Club formerly known as Fastlink Basketball Club was a Jordanian basketball club based in Amman, Jordan. They compete in the Jordanian Premier Basketball League and have won six consecutive Jordanian championships in the period 2003 to 2008-09 season. The team has been disbanded in 2010.
Applied Science University was a Jordanian professional basketball club based in Amman, Jordan. The team competed in the Jordanian Premier Basketball League for 7 seasons from 2008 until 2015. In 2009, they finished 2–4 to earn third place in the federation. The team was disbanded in 2015. The team won four Jordanian Championships.
Al Riyadi Aramex Basketball Club is a Jordanian professional basketball club that competes in the Jordanian Premier Basketball League and are based in Amman, Jordan. In the team's inaugural season in 2001–02, they competed in the Jordanian Division II league, winning the championship and the Jordanian Cup, and earned a promotion to the Division I league for the 2002–03 season. Before 2001, Aramex sponsored Al-Jazeera Basketball Club for 13 years. Aramex split with Al-Jazeera and established Al-Riyadi in 2001.
