Julia Gutierrez (born 13 September 2007) is a Mexican rhythmic gymnast, member of the national senior group. [1] She's a Pan American multiple medalist.

Career

Julia was incorporated into the senior group in 2023, debuting at the World Cup in Portimão taking 7th place in the All-Around and 5th with 5 hoops. [2] In June she won All-Around, 5 hoops and 3 ribbons & 2 balls' silver at the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara. [3] [4] In July she won 3 golds at the Central American and Caribbean Games. [5] [6] [7] Later the group was 8th in the All-Around and 7th with 3 ribbons & 2 balls in Cluj-Napoca. [8] A week after they were 13th in the All-Around at the stage in Milan. [9] Selected for the World Championships in Valencia along Dalia Alcocer, Sofia Flores, Kimberly Salazar, Adirem Tejeda and Karen Villanueva, taking 14th place in the All-Around, 14th with 5 hoops and 8th with 3 ribbons & 2 balls. [10] In November the group won silver in all three events at the Pan American Games, where they also obtained Mexico's first group Olympic spot being the top placed nation non already qualified for Paris 2024.
