Juliana is a feminine given name which originated presumably from Julius Caesar, the Roman statesman and military leader. It is a portmentau of the names Julia and Anna. Juliana or Giuliana was the name of a number of early saints, notably Saint Julian the Hospitaller, which ensured the name's continued popularity in the medieval period.

The Juliana Canal, named after Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, is a 36 km long canal in the southern Netherlands, providing a bypass of an unnavigable section of the river Meuse between Maastricht and Maasbracht. It is an important transport connection between the ports of the Rhine delta and the industrial areas of southern Limburg and southern Belgium.

Dhita Juliana is an Indonesian beach volleyball player. Born in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Juliana initially started her career as an indoor volleyball player when she was in the elementary school. She then continued as a beach volleyball player after joining the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs programme in 2008. Partnered with Putu Utami, she won the gold medal for the West Nusa Tenggara province at the 2012 Pekan Olahraga Nasional held in Riau. In the international event, she was the gold medalist at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. She also won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand. In 2018, she claimed the bronze medal at the Asian Games.

"Juliana", is one of the four signed poems ascribed to the mysterious poet, Cynewulf, and is an account of the martyring of St. Juliana of Nicomedia. The one surviving manuscript, dated between 970 and 990, is preserved in the Exeter Book between the poems The Phoenix and The Wanderer. Juliana is one of only five Old English poetic texts that describe the lives of saints.

Juliana's, also known as Juliana's Tokyo (ジュリアナ東京), was a Japanese discothèque that operated in Shibaura, Minato, Tokyo from May 15th 1991 till August 31st 1994. It was famous for its dance platforms, on which office ladies dressed in "bodycon" clubwear would congregate, as amateur go-go dancers. The club was produced by Masahiro Origuchi for the British leisure services group Wembley PLC, and Nissho Iwai Corporation, the Japanese general trading company.

Georg Eduard Albert Krugers was a cameraman and film director active in the Dutch East Indies during the early 20th century. He is recorded as having worked in film since the mid-1920s, and in 1927 he made his directorial debut, Eulis Atjih. He joined hajj pilgrims in 1928 and screened the resulting documentary in the Netherlands. His 1930 film Karnadi Anemer Bangkong is thought to be the first talkie in the cinema of the Indies, but was a commercial failure as the majority Sundanese audience considered it insulting. After making two works for Tan's Film in the early 1930s, Krugers moved to Hong Kong and then the Netherlands.
