Jumeirah Business Center Tower's are a collection of nine free-hold commercial towers being developed in plots G2, V1, Y1, N3, W1, L1, H1, G3, and H3 of the Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) Community in Dubai, UAE. [1] The towers were designed by National Engineering Bureau and are being developed by Al Fajer Properties (AFP). These consist of a leaseable area of 3,600,000 square feet (330,000 m2) and an additional 150,000 square feet (14,000 m2) dedicated to retail across all nine towers.

Phase 1 Completed by Al Fajer Properties

Phase one of the project was awarded to Dubai-based property developer-Al Fajer Properties. AFP is the premier developer in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) community and is the only developer to include a five-floor atrium within the lobbies of its towers. The first phase of the development consists of five towers and adds 2,000,000 sq ft (190,000 m2) of office space and an additional 83,000 sq ft (7,700 m2) of retail space within the Jumeirah Lake Towers Community. Al Ahamdiah Contracting (AFP's main contractor), enabled the project to achieve a rate of a 4-day cycle per floor for phase 1, which has resulted in five towers being built in a span of twelve months [2]

Phase 2

Phase 2 consists of four commercial buildings, JBC 6, JBC 7, JBC 8 and JBC 9. The addition of these four towers will add 1,600,000 sq ft (150,000 m2) of office space and an additional 66,000 sq ft (6,100 m2) of retail space within the Jumeirah Lake Towers Community and is dedicated to the highest green building codes complementing the green mandate set out by the Dubai Government.

Almas Tower

Almas Tower is a 68-storey, 360 m (1,180 ft), supertall skyscraper in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction of the office building began in early 2005 and was completed in 2009 with the installation of some remaining cladding panels at the top of the tower. The building was topped out in 2008, and became the tallest building in Dubai until 2009 when it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa.

The Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) is a large development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which consists of 80 towers being constructed along the edges of three artificial lakes as well as the JLT Embankment of 8 tower facing Jumeirah Islands. Initially JLT had 4 lakes, in late 2012 developer (DMCC) announced that lake Elucio would be drained and 55,000 meter park would be created instead. Subsequently, Lake Allure has been renamed to JLT Lake. The total area covered by the lakes, waterways and landscaping will be 730,000-square-metre (7,900,000 sq ft). The towers will range from having 35 floors to having 45, except for the centerpiece, which is 66 floors. The tallest tower and the centerpiece of the entire complex is Almas Tower which is situated on its own island between Lake Almas West and Lake Almas East.

Business Bay Community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Business Bay is a central business district under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project features numerous skyscrapers located in an area where Dubai Creek has been dredged and extended. Business Bay will have upwards of 240 buildings, comprising commercial and residential developments. The infrastructure of Business Bay has been completed in 2008, and the entire development is expected to be completed between 2012-2015. SmartCity, Kochi Information technology

SmartCity Kochi is an information technology special economic zone in Kochi, Kerala, India. A joint venture company named Smart City (Kochi) Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. was formed by Government of Kerala and Dubai Holding to implement the project. The project is spread over an area of 246 acres (99.6 ha) and envisions a minimum 8.8 million sq ft of built up space out of which at least 6.21 million sq ft will be specifically for IT/ITES/allied services. The project is expected to create over 90,000 direct jobs.

The Dubai government's decision to diversify from a trade-based but oil-reliant economy to one that is service- and tourism-oriented has made real estate and other developments more valuable, resulting in the property boom from 2004–2006. Construction on a large scale has turned Dubai into one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. There are a number of large-scale projects which are currently under construction or will be constructed in the future. Due to the heavy construction which is taking place in Dubai, 30,000 construction cranes, which are 25% of cranes worldwide, are operating in Dubai. Due to the burst of construction, Dubai has acquired various building-related records, which include: the world's tallest tower, the world's largest shopping mall, the world's largest fountain and the world's tallest hotel. Also under construction is Dubailand, which will be almost twice the size of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Al Fattan Marine Towers complex in the Dubai Marina section of Dubai

The Al Fattan Marine Towers is a complex in the Dubai Marina section of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The towers are located within Jumeirah Beach Residence, a 40-tower, 7,000 unit residential and hotel development which runs alongside Dubai Marina. The Al Fattan Marine Towers consist of two twin 50-story towers, the Al Fattan Tower, and the Oasis Beach Tower, consisting of serviced and residential apartments which have since been sold to individual investors and homeowners. Both towers stand at a height of 245 m (804 ft) and a roof height of 230 m (755 ft), and are the tallest buildings in Jumeirah Beach Residence. Construction of both towers was completed in 2006. Following completion the developer, Al Fattan Properties LLC built a 12-storey office and retail building on an adjacent plot between the towers and Dubai Marina restricting views of the marina from the towers. In 2012 Al Fattan commenced construction of two high-rise towers on the beach in front of the towers which will largely restrict seaviews from Al Fattan Marine Towers. Al Fattan had earlier demolished a 10-story hotel on the site, the Oasis Hotel, which it had built about a decade earlier. Originally Al Fattan proposed to build a mega 97-tower building on the site to be called Burj Al Fattan, however a subsequent decision was made to split the development into two high-rise towers. The exact number of floors is not known as there has been no public disclosure of the project.

Jumeirah Beach Residence Beach Residence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) long, 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) gross floor area waterfront community located against the Persian Gulf in Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a residential development and contains 40 towers. JBR can accommodate about 15,000 people, living in its apartments and hotel rooms. The Project has 6,917 apartments, from 900 sq ft (84 m2) studios to 5,500 sq ft (510 m2) penthouses. JBR has a total of six residential blocks, Shams, Amwaj, Rimal, Bahar, Sadaf and Murjan. JBR is within walking distance to Dubai Marina, Dubai Tram and Dubai Metro.

The master plan of Jumeirah Garden City refers to the re-development of a 9,000,000-square-metre (97,000,000 sq ft) land area, conceptualized to be a part of the 2015 strategic plan for Dubai. The development consists of 12 districts with an envision built up area of 14,000,000 square metres (150,000,000 sq ft). The Jumeirah Garden City aims to cater to a population of 50,000 to 60,000 residents. The project will cost approximately Dh350 billion . The announcement of the project coincided with the global financial crisis, and the construction of the project was put on hold due to global financial crisis.

1 Dubai was a complex of three skyscrapers proposed for Jumeirah Garden City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tower 1 would have been the tallest and Towers 2 and 3 much shorter. Although the planned height was never officially released, various heights over 1,008 m (3,307 ft) were suggested, with the intention to be taller than Burj Khalifa which was under construction at the time. The complex was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, and the developer was Meraas.

Jumeirah Lakes Towers Free Zone free zone authority for the JLT Free Zone

The Jumeirah Lakes Towers Free Zone is the free zone authority for the JLT Free Zone. It was established in 2002 as a strategic initiative of the Government of Dubai with a mandate to provide the physical, market and financial infrastructure required to set up a commodities market place in Dubai. As of 30 May 2013 it had over 6,600 registered members including both commodities and other businesses.

Dubai Design District (d3) is a purpose-built master-plan development in Dubai dedicated to the design community including startups, entrepreneurs and established international design, luxury and fashion brands. The Burj 2020 is an approved 660 metres (2,170ft) megatall skyscraper to be built in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
