K. M. George may refer to:
K. M. George was a famous political leader from the Indian state of Kerala. He is the founder of Kerala Congress, a political party in India.
Karimpumannil Mathai George (1914–2002), popularly known as Dr. K. M. George, was an eminent Malayalam writer and educator. An erudite scholar and literary critic with astute organisational capabilities, he is best known as a pioneer of Comparative Indian Studies and Literatures. For his monumental works – Comparative Indian Literature, Modern Indian Literature and Masterpieces of Indian Literature, that promoted national integration through literature in India, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2001, one of the highest national awards of India.

George Raymond Richard Martin, also known as GRRM, is an American novelist and short story writer in the fantasy, horror, and science fiction genres, screenwriter, and television producer. He is best known for his series of epic fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, which was adapted into the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011–present).
Kannur District is one of the 14 districts along the west coast in the state of Kerala, India. The town of Kannur is the district headquarters and gives the district its name. The old name, Cannanore is the anglicised form of the Malayalam name "Kannur". Kannur district is bounded by Kasaragod District to the north, Kozhikode district to the south and Wayanad District to the southeast. To the east the district is bounded by the Western Ghats, which forms the border with the state of Karnataka. The Arabian Sea lies to the west. Paithalmala is the highest point in the Kannur District (1,372m). Enclosed within the southern part of the district is the Mahé district of the Union Territory of Puducherry. The district was established in 1957.

He was the founder of parallel college education system in Kerala, one of the major forces behind the Purogamana Sahitya Prasthanam and was the founder president of Sahithya Pravrthaka Sahakarana Sangham, the writers' cooperative movement.
Akathoot Balakrishna Pillai (1889–1960), better known as Kesari Balakrishna Pillai, was a Malayalam writer, art and literary critic and journalist, considered by many as one of the most influential thinkers of modern Kerala. He was the eponymous founder of the newspaper, Kesari and was one of the three major figures in modern Malayalam literary criticism, along with Joseph Mundassery and M. P. Paul. Besides works such as Kesariyude Lokangal, Navalokam, Sankethika Nirupanangal Sahitya Nirupanangal, Rupamanjari, he also wrote a text in English under the title, Outlines of the Proto-Historic Chronology of Western Asia.

K. Ramachandra Babu, ISC is a Kerala State award-winning cinematographer of over 125 films, out of which most are Malayalam films. He has also worked for films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Arabic and English languages. He has served as the cinematographer for several documentaries and advertisement films as well. He is the founder of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC).

St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry is a college in Kozhencherry, Kerala state, south India. Established in 1953, it is administered by the Mar Thoma Syrian Church. Most Rev. Dr. Juhanon Mar Thoma Metropolitan and Rev. K.T.Thomas, Kurumthottickal, the veteran Minister of the Parish of Kozhencherry were involved in founding the college. Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan, the present head of the Mar Thoma Church, is the manager of the college.
Muttathu Varkey was a Malayalam novelist, short story writer, and poet from Kerala, India. Varkey was an exponent of a genre of sentiment-filled romantic fiction known as painkili (janapriya) novel in Malayalam literature.
N. P. Mohammed, popularly known by his initials N.P., was an Indian Malayalam language novelist and short story writer. He, along with his contemporaries like M. T. Vasudevan Nair, O. V. Vijayan, Kakkanadan, and Kamala Das ushered in a modernist movement in Malayalam fiction in the late 1950s. During his long literary career NP served as the President of Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
K. M. Daniel was an Indian literary critic and scholar from Kerala, India. He was born in Chengannur in Alappuzha district in Kerala. He took his master's degree in Malayalam language and literature and served for forty years as Lecturer and Professor in various colleges. He is one of the first few writers in Malayalam who tried to combine eastern and western literary theories in the study of Malayalam works. He died on 18 July 1988.
