KASB Bank was a Pakistani bank which was founded by Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari. The bank was headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan. [1] It is worked under the KASB Group of Companies. KASB Group is the oldest capital markets business in Pakistan, established in 1952 by Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari. KASB Group has business interests in financial services ([http://www.kasb.com KASB Securities], KTrade, KASB Modarba), Real Estate (KASB Tower), Education (KASB Institute of Technology), agriculture and media (Play TV).

On 7 May 2015, the bank merged with Bank Islami due to financial difficulties. [2]

The idea of BankIslami was conceptualized by Jahangir Siddiqui & Company Limited and Randeree family in late 2003. Mr. Hasan A. Bilgram I. was appointed as adviser to the sponsors on 16th March 2004 to formalize the idea. He presented the concept paper of BankIslami to sponsors on 24 March 2004. A detailed business plan was then prepared and a formal application was submitted to the State Bank of Pakistan on 26 May 2004. On the 26th of September 2005, Dubai Bank joined the sponsors and became one of the founding shareholders of BankIslami by investing 18.75% in the total capital.

Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nabuwwat is the programmatic name of a Pakistani Barelvi organization and Islamic religious movement in Pakistan aiming to protect the belief in the finality of prophethood of Muhammad based on their concept of Khatam an-Nabiyyin. Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bukhari is a Pakistani politician and a former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-145 (Okara-III) for the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians. He is from the village of Karmanwala, Okara District and resides in Lahore, Punjab. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from October 2018 till January 2023. He had been Provincial Minister of Punjab for Information and Culture from 6 March 2019 to 19 July 2019 after resignation of Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan. On 20 July 2020, he was appointed provincial minister of Punjab for Fisheries and Wildlife and stayed in that role until April 2022.
