Kalineesan

Kalineesan is someone who was caught by Kalimayai (not to be confused with the Hindu deity) according to Akilattirattu Ammanai, the source of Ayyavazhi mythology. Kaliyan is the sixth fragment of Kroni and Kalineesan. According to Ayyavazhi mythology, the kalimayai captured the King of Travancore and henceforth was called Kalineesan.

Kalimayai is the illusion caused by the evil spirit of Kali Yukam, according to Akilattirattu Ammanai the source of Ayyavazhi mythology.

Ayyavazhi mythology

Ayyavazhi mythology is the mythology of the growing South Indian religious faith and a sect of Hinduism known as Ayyavazhi. The main source of Ayyavazhi mythology is the Ayyavazhi scripture, Akilattirattu Ammanai, and its supplement, Arul Nool. The Akilattirattu Ammanai is a recitation by Mayon to his consort Lakshmi. It is divided into three sections: pre-incarnational events, incarnational events and post-incarnational events.

Kroni

Kroni is a figure in Ayyavazhi mythology. He is the primordial manifestation of evil, and manifests in various forms of evil, such as Ravana and Duryodhana, in different ages or yugas. In order to counteract and destroy the evil of Kroni's manifestations, Mayon incarnates as Avatars such as Rama and Krishna. He shares many similarities with the demon Kali of the Mahabharata and Kalki Purana.

In the second yukam called Chathura Yukam, according to Ayyavazhi mythology one of the six Pieces of Kroni was formed as a creature with the name of Kuntomasali with the shape and size of a mammoth leech, and when it disturbed the tavam of those in Thavalokam, Mayon destroyed it by catching it in a hook.

Netu Yukam, according to Ayyavazhi mythology, was a time when another fragment of Kroni was created into two wicked persons called Thillaimallalan and Mallosivahanan. They ruled over the people most wickedly by extracting Uliyam and Iraikal (taxes) from them. When it became unbearable, the Thevarkal complained to Isvaran, who in turn commissioned Mayon to carry out the destruction of the wicked rulers, which he later did.

The fourth aeon was called Kretha Yukam, according to Ayyavazhi mythology. The third fragment of Kroni was, again, made into two siblings called Suraparppan and Sinkamuka Suran, and they were given responsibility to rule the earth. The wicked rulers began to crush the Thevarkal, who again reported it to Mayon. The Mayon took the form of Arumukan, the Tamil god, and advised the rulers to desist from their wickedness. But, when they spurned the advice arrogantly, Arumukan eliminated them too. During the same Yukam, Suraparppan was created again as Iraniyan. Mayon, incarnated as the son of Iraniyan, and challenged his authority, and finally taking on the therianthropic form of man and lion by piercing his stomach. In the death-bed Mayon asked him to repent. But he replied, arrogantly, that you cannot kill me only by placing ten mountains as ten nails you killed me and otherwise you can't.

According to the Ayyavazhi sect of hinduism, Thretha Yukam was the fifth of the Eight Yukams. In this aeon Isvaran created the fourth piece of the primordial Kroni as a Ten-headed mighty warrior, as per the request of Mayon, naming him as Ravanan, with ten heads as ten mountains.

"Thiruvasakam" in Tamil means The Holy Text. Thiruvasakam is the report which was sent to humanity about the arrival of God to the world according to Ayyavazhi mythology. They are four in number, as written in the Akilattirattu Ammanai.

The Santror

The Santror are the seven boys who were brought to life by using the seven seeds from seven upper worlds, by Thirumal, to the Seven Virgins through their instrumentality, according to Ayyavazhi mythology. It also represents their descendants. According to Akilattirattu Ammanai, it additionally represents one who lives with Dignity.

Akilam five

Akilam Five is the fifth section of Akilam, which is the primary scripture of Ayyavazhi. It narrates the cruel reign of Kaliyan, the death of two Santror and the subsequent curse given to Kali. It also hints about the start of the Kalineesan dynasty that tortured Vaikundar.

Thirumal in Thiruvananthapuram

Venneesan

Venneesan was a mythical figure found in Ayyavazhi mythology. According to Akilattirattu Ammanai, the holy text of Ayyavazhi and source of Ayyavazhi mythology, he was the son of Kalineesan.

Ayya Vaikundar was the incarnation of Ekam according to Akilathirattu Ammanai, the religious text of Ayyavazhi and the source of Ayyavazhi mythology. As the Ekam is the supreme power in Ayyavazhi, Vaikundar was the supreme power incarnate.

The Inclusiveness and exclusivity in Ayyavazhi is the inclusive and exclusive ideology of Ayyavazhi scriptures over other religions. The formula of inclusivism and exclusivism was applied in the religio-cultural universe of Ayyavazhi is one that is not found anywhere else in the world. Though there are separate verses towards inclusivism and exclusivism as central themes in Akilam, the mixture of both is unique. The inclusivistic theory of accepting the views of different religions for a certain period of time and from then onwards exclusivistically rejecting all of them by narrating that all the previous had lost their substances is a mythical as well as religious break-through.
