The 1935 Mannin Moar was a Grand Prix that was held on 31 May 1935 at a street circuit in Douglas, Isle of Man. It was the thirteenth race of the 1935 Grand Prix season, but it did not count towards the championship. The race, contested over 50 laps of 4.035 mi, or 6.494 km, was won by Brian Lewis driving a Bugatti T59 after starting from pole position. He also won the two previous editions of the Mannin Moar.
Rabbi Shmaryahu Noah Schneersohn (1842-1924) was the fourth rebbe of Kopust, a branch of the Chabad Hasidic movement. Rabbi Shmaryahu Noah succeeded his brother, Rabbi Shalom Dovber Schneersohn as 4th leader of the group for a period of time after Rabbi Shalom Dovber died. Other sources claim Rabbi Shmaryahu Noah succeeded his brother, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Schneersohn as leader of the group in the year 1900 after Rabbi Shlomo Zalman died. Rabbi Shmaryahu Noah served as the Kopuster movement's rebbe in the town of Babruysk. He was rav of the chasidim in Babruysk from 1872, and founded a yeshiva there in 1901. He authored a two-volume work on Hasidism, titled "Shemen LaMaor".
The Douglas Circuit was a motor racing street circuit in Douglas, the capital and largest town of the Isle of Man and was re-configured each year until 1937. The first Grand Prix, titled "Mannin Beg & Mannin Moar" was held in 1933 on a 4.60 mi (7.40 km) street circuit which repeated as II and III Mannin Moar on different circuit layouts until 1935. In 1936 the circuit changed again for the IV RAC International Light Car Race and a last time for the (1937) V RAC International Light Car Race.
