Khalkhal Mahalleh-ye Qadim (Persian : خلخال محله قديم‎, also Romanized as Khalkhāl Maḩalleh-ye Qadīm; also known as Khalkhālī Maḩalleh-ye Qadīm)^[1] is a village in Goli Jan Rural District, in the Central District of Tonekabon County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 126, in 36 families.^[2]

It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran.
