Sneaker Pimps are an English electronic music band, formed in Hartlepool in 1994. They are best known for their debut album, Becoming X (1996), and its singles "6 Underground" and "Spin Spin Sugar". The band takes its name from an article the Beastie Boys published in their Grand Royal magazine about a man they hired to track down classic sneakers.
This is the discography of Apple Records, a record label formed by the Beatles in 1968. During its early years, the label enjoyed a fair degree of commercial success, most notably with Mary Hopkin and Badfinger, as well as discovering acts such as James Taylor and Billy Preston who would go on to greater success with other labels. However, by the mid-1970s, Apple had become little more than an outlet for the Beatles' solo recordings. After EMI's contract with the Beatles ended in 1976, the Apple label was finally wound up. The label was reactivated in the 1990s with many of the original Apple albums being reissued on compact disc, and the company now oversees new Beatles releases such as the Anthology and 1 albums as well as the 2009 Beatles remastering programme. In 2010, Apple set about remastering and reissuing its back catalogue for a second time.
Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music is the sixth studio album by the American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It was released for free on the Internet on September 5, 2000. Plans for a standard physical release, bundled with the first part Machina/The Machines of God, were revealed to happen sometime in 2013, but was postponed due to legal setbacks. In an Instagram Q&A in 2018, the band's frontman, Billy Corgan, revealed that all legal issues had been resolved. The two albums are planned to be remastered and released as a deluxe reissue; however, no release date has been announced.
Singles Box Set 1981–1985 is a box set by English new wave band Duran Duran. Consisting of 13 CDs, it was released on 12 May 2003 by EMI and covers the era from Duran Duran (1981) to Arena (1984), as well as the non-studio album single "A View to a Kill" (1985).

IAMX is the solo musical project of Chris Corner of the band Sneaker Pimps. Founded in 2004 in London, it is an independent music project which also focuses on and experiments with visual art. Musically, IAMX spans multiple genres from electronic rock and dance music to burlesque-influenced songs and emotional ballads. Corner's striking and wide-ranging voice, and his way of programming sounds and beats, make up the obvious characteristic of the IAMX sound.
Kiss + Swallow is the debut album by IAMX and was released on 13 July 2004. It mostly consists of tracks that were recorded for the unreleased fourth studio album by Sneaker Pimps, which is dubbed "SP4" by the fans.
"Missile" is a song by IAMX from the album Kiss + Swallow. It was released in 2005 as a promo single with another track "This Will Make You Love Again". The latter appeared on his 2006 album The Alternative.
Augustana is an American rock band from San Diego, California that has released five albums and an EP while being signed to Epic Records and Razor & Tie. They are best known for their song "Boston" and the album All the Stars and Boulevards. They are fronted by Daniel Layus, who is the only remaining member of the band.
Waterfront is a 1980s Welsh pop duo, comprising Phil Cilia and Chris Duffy, who emerged from the ashes of local Cardiff band The Official Secrets. The band met their manager, John Newman, when recording demos at his recording studio, Music Factory, in Cardiff. Newman remained with them as a personal manager throughout their successful years.
"Beautiful World" is a song by Japanese musician Hikaru Utada. It served as the theme song for Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, the 2007 film reboot of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was released as a double A-side single on August 29, 2007 along with their song "Kiss & Cry", which had been released digitally three months earlier. In 2009, a remix of the song, "Beautiful World " served as the theme song of the second film in the series, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.
Juno Records is a UK-based online dance music retail store, selling vinyl records, CDs, music downloads and music accessories, founded by Richard Atherton and Sharon Boyd. The website was created in 1996 as an information-only site called The Dance Music Resource Pages, listing new dance music titles each day as they were released. In 1997 the site changed into the commercial store Juno Records, allowing users to buy the records and CDs listed. During the e-commerce boom of the late 1990s, the site differentiated itself from other dance music stores by maintaining a text-based presentation.
Live in Warsaw is the first live album by IAMX, released on 14 November 2008 through record company 61seconds. The album was originally only to be released in Poland, however it was made available worldwide by an online retailer. The album is now out of print. It was available as a digital download. On 26 June 2020 the digital download version was re-released.
"In a Heartbeat" is a pop song by German singer Sandra, written by Toby Gad and Jim Dyke, and produced by Jens Gad. The song was released in March 2009 as the lead single from Sandra's ninth studio album Back to Life. The single's B-sides were the album song "These Moments" and a non-album exclusive track "Kiss My...". No official music video has been filmed for the song. "In a Heartbeat" was a minor success on the German singles chart.
These Hopeful Machines is the sixth studio album by American electronic musician BT. Released on February 1, 2010, the album sees collaborations with the likes of JES, Rob Dickinson, Christian Burns and Kirsty Hawkshaw, also featuring a cover of "The Ghost in You" by The Psychedelic Furs. Because some tracks exceed 10 minutes in length, the album spans two discs with six tracks on each. In an effort to make the album more accessible to casual listeners, the record was eventually re-issued as a single-disc version with shorter tracks, titled These Humble Machines. In addition, the album would later spawn a double disc remix edition titled These Re-Imagined Machines, also featured as a "Limited Collector's Edition Box Set". With great reception from critics, the album was nominated for the 2011 Grammy Awards under Best Electronic/Dance Album.

We Rule the Night is the fourth studio album by Swedish metalcore band Sonic Syndicate. The album was released on August 27, 2010 through Nuclear Blast and was produced by Toby Wright. We Rule the Night is the first full-length release by the band to feature the vocals of Nathan James Biggs who replaced former singer Roland Johansson who left the band in 2009. However, it is also the last album to feature founding members Richard and Roger Sjunnesson, who both left the band in October 2010 and May 2012 respectively. The band toured Europe to support the album with the "We Rule the World Tour", starting on September 15, 2010 with Christoffer Andersson standing in for Richard.
"Behind the Mask" is a 1979 song by Japanese synth-pop group Yellow Magic Orchestra. Initially an instrumental written by band member Ryuichi Sakamoto for a 1978 Seiko commercial, the song was elaborated upon with bandmates Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi and lyricist Chris Mosdell for inclusion on Solid State Survivor the following year. The song was later featured on the US release of X∞Multiplies in 1980, which combined tracks from the Japanese version and Solid State Survivor, and was released as a single in the US and UK to promote the album.
Volatile Times is the fourth studio album from IAMX. It was released on 18 March 2011 and the tracks on the album keep alive the cabaret-esque and dark electronic sound that Chris Corner has become known for. The track "Volatile Times" was featured on season 1 episode 5 of How to Get Away with Murder, both the US and instrumental versions of "I Salute You Christopher" on episode 11, as well as the US version of "Music People" on episode 14.
"Your Joy Is My Low" is a song by IAMX, taken from his first studio album Kiss + Swallow. It was first released on IAMX's debut promo EP Your Joy Is My Low in Austria during his first tour in June 2004. Only 222 copies were made available. A one track promo CD single was released in 2004 by Belgian label Anorak Supersport.
