Kottappurathe Koottukudumbam (transl. Kottappuram joint family) is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film directed by Pappan Naripatta and starring Vijayaraghavan and Urvashi in the lead roles. [1] It is a remake of the 1991 Tamil film Pondatti Sonna Kettukanum .
A poor couple get their son married to a woman who is rich because of their ambitions of becoming wealthy. However, when her family spirals into poverty, they cast her out of the house.
Mohan Sithara is an Indian music composer. He received the Kerala State Film Award for the Best Music Director (2009) for the songs in Priyanandan's Soofi Paranja Kadha. Since 1986 he has been an active musician in the Malayalam film industry. His work mixes Western, Classical and folk styles. He has worked with lyricists and poets like O. N. V Kurup, Yusufali Kechery, Sreekumaran Thampi, Rajeev Alunkal, Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, S. Yesudas, P. Jayachandran, M.G.Sreekumar, K. S. Chithra, Shreya Ghoshal, Sujatha Mohan, Madhu Balakrishnan, G. Venugopal, Vidhu Prathap, Afsal, Manjari, Jyotsna Radhakrishnan, and Biju Narayanan.

Butterflies is a 1993 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film directed by Rajiv Anchal and written by A. K. Sajan. It was produced by Menaka and was the debut film of their production house Revathy Kalamandhir. The film stars Mohanlal, Aishwarya, Nassar, and Jagadish. The film was extensively shot in Bangalore. It was released on 14 April 2004, became a super hit at the box office and was dubbed and released in Tamil as Anbu Sagotharan with comedy track reshot with Manivannan, Senthil and Shakeela. The movie is a remake of the 2002 Kannada film Thavarige Baa Thangi. The movie became super hit at the box-office.
