Krakra (Bulgarian : Кракра) is a village in Valchi Dol Municipality, in Varna Province, north-eastern Bulgaria. The village is named after the 11th century Bulgarian noble Krakra, governor of Pernik. As of 2007 it had a population of 20 people.

The Pernik sword is a medieval double-edged iron sword unearthed in the ruins of the medieval fortress of Krakra near Pernik, western Bulgaria, on 1 January 1921. It bears an inscription in silver inlay on the blade. The sword is preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Bulgaria in Sofia. The sword is 96 centimetres (38 in) long and up to 4.5 cm (1.8 in) wide.

Krakra of Pernik, also known as Krakra Voevoda or simply Krakra, was an 11th-century feudal lord in the First Bulgarian Empire whose domain encompassed 36 fortresses in what is today southwestern Bulgaria, with his capital at Pernik. He is known for heroically resisting Byzantine sieges on multiple occasions as the Byzantines overran the Bulgarian Empire.

Station P was a British base camp at the head of Mateev Cove on the east side of Hannah Point, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica that supported survey, geology and biology field work from 29 December 1957 until 15 March 1958. The camp was occupied by a six-member team led by Hugh Simpson. A hut intended for erection on the site failed to reach its destination, as the ship RRS Shackleton transporting it was damaged by the ice and parts of the hut were used in the ship’s repair. As a result, the plans for a more permanent British presence on the island failed to materialize.

Elemag or Elinag Phrantzes was, according to the history of John Skylitzes, a general and governor of Belegrada for the First Bulgarian Empire under Tsar Samuel. Sarmadzhiev House

The Sarmadzhiev House is a Neo-Baroque house in central Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The Sarmadzhiev House lies on the corner of Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard and Krakra Street, between the Sofia University rectorate and Eagles' Bridge. The house was designed by Austrian–Bulgarian architect Friedrich Grünanger and built in 1903 for lawyer and diplomat Haralampi Sarmadzhiev. Since 1916, it has been owned by the Ottoman Empire and its successor, the Republic of Turkey. Currently, it serves as the residence of the Turkish ambassador to Bulgaria.

Lukovo Point

Lukovo Point is the mostly ice-free point on the northwest coast of South Bay in Livingston Island, Antarctica projecting 200 m southwards. It is surmounted by Krakra Bluff on the north. The feature is named after the settlements Lukovo in Western Bulgaria, and Gorno (Upper) and Dolno (Lower) Lukovo in Southern Bulgaria.
