Labrinth,Sia &Diplo Present... LSD,also known simply as LSD,is the debut studio album by the music group LSD. Originally scheduled to be released by Columbia Records on 2 November 2018, [4] it was pushed back to 12 April 2019. [5]
LSD,consisting of English singer-producer Labrinth,Australian singer-songwriter Sia,and American producer-DJ Diplo,was teased on 11 March 2018 by Diplo after he posted a picture of a cassette with the logo of LSD on his Instagram. [6] Five singles were released prior to the release,as well as a remix of "Genius",featuring Lil Wayne. [5] [7]
The album was released on CD, [8] and a Japanese edition was released containing four bonus remixes. [9] On 28 June 2019,a limited edition coloured vinyl was released. [10]
"Genius" was released on 3 May 2018 as the album's lead single. [11] It impacted alternative radio in the US on 19 June 2018, [12] and is featured on the video game by EA Sports, FIFA 19 . [13] "Audio" served as the second single off of the album. It was released on 10 May 2018 and impacted contemporary hit radio in the US on 26 June 2018. [14] [15] The third single,"Thunderclouds",was released on 9 August 2018. It was used as the main theme song for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 promotional campaign,being featured extensively in parts in the company's ads,as well as at the reveal event in New York on 9 August 2018. [16] "Mountains" was released as the fourth single from the album on 1 November 2018. [17] "No New Friends" was made available for download on 14 March 2019. [18] A remix of "Heaven Can Wait" by The Aston Shuffle was released on 24 May 2019. [19]

LSD received mixed reviews from critics. Kat Bein of Entertainment Weekly wrote that LSD were not afraid to "get weird" on this project and praised the album,noting that its "mix of tropical vibes and experimental hooks give [it] a pleasant,lush,varied landscape of tones and tempos". [21] Writing for Pitchfork,Dani Blum criticised the album,writing that it sounds like "an algorithmic midden of pop music" and that the lyrical content is "asinine". [24] Jem Aswad of Variety noted that there are "several gems" in the album's tracks,and praised Labrinth and Diplo's production. [26] Reviewing for NME ,El Hunt gave LSD 3 out of 5 stars,praising "exceptional" stand-out tracks such as "Thunderclouds" and "Genius",but also implying the album is generic,and those desiring more experimental music should "[look] elsewhere". [22] Neil Z. Yeung of AllMusic rated the album 4 out of 5 stars,describing the album as "good and fun",and as an "experience to embrace and enjoy". [1]

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler is an Australian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Adelaide, she started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. When Crisp disbanded in 1997, she released her debut studio album, OnlySee, in Australia. Sia moved to London and provided vocals for the British duo Zero 7. She released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, in 2001 and her third, Colour the Small One, in 2004.
Thomas Wesley Pentz, known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ and music producer. He is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer; a member of the supergroup LSD, with Sia and Labrinth; a member of electronic duo Jack Ü, with producer and DJ Skrillex; and a member of Silk City, with Mark Ronson. He founded the record company Mad Decent in 2006, as well as the non-profit organization Heaps Decent the following year. His 2013 extended play (EP), Revolution, debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. The EP's title track was later featured in a commercial for Hyundai and is featured on the WWE 2K16 soundtrack.
Timothy Lee McKenzie, better known by his stage name Labrinth, is an English singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Labrinth signed as a recording artist with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music in 2010, initially collaborating with the English rapper Tinie Tempah. He appeared as a featured artist: uncredited on the single "Pass Out", but later officially on "Frisky"; then he released his first solo single, "Let the Sun Shine" in September. All three songs peaked in the top five on the UK Singles Chart.

It is Major lazer's 1st album in five years since Peace Is the Mission (2015). First announced in 2015, many conflicting statements have been made about the album, with the latest reports being that it will be the final Major Lazer album. It was later announced in 2019 that the album would instead be titled Lazerism, but the name was later changed back to the original title. Reasonable Woman is the upcoming tenth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Sia, expected to be released by Monkey Puzzle and Atlantic Records on 3 May 2024. The album was preceded by the singles "Gimme Love", "Dance Alone", "Incredible" and "I Forgive You" and features collaborations with several artists.
