It is the only public law school in Connecticut and one of only four in New England. The school was ranked 58th overall in the 2022 Best Law Schools ranking by U.S. News & World Report. The law school has 488 JD students and a student:faculty ratio of 5:1.

Martin Jenkins American judge

Martin Joseph Jenkins is an American attorney and jurist serving as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of California. He was previously a Justice of the California Court of Appeal for the First District, located in San Francisco, and a former United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

The Solano County Superior Court is the California superior court with jurisdiction over Solano County.
