Attila Buday is a Hungarian-born Canadian sprint canoer who competed from 1996 to 2006. He won three silver medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships
Attila Ábrahám is a Hungarian sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. Completing in two Summer Olympics, he won a complete set of medals.
Juraj Bača is a Slovak sprint canoeist who competed from 1998 to 2005. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Athens in 2004.
Torsten René Gutsche is an East German-German sprint canoer who competed from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won three golds and one silver.
Grant Bramwell is a sprint canoeist who competed in the 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the K-4 1000 m at Los Angeles in 1984 with Alan Thompson, Ian Ferguson and Paul MacDonald. Bramwell also won a K-1 10000 m bronze at the 1985 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Mechelen.

Detlef Hofmann is a German sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. He won a gold medal in the K-4 1000 m event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Thomas Reineck is a West German-German sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won two gold medals in the K-4 1000 m event, earning them in 1992 and 1996.
Sergei Chukhray is a Soviet sprint canoeist who competed from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won three gold medals with one in 1976 and two in 1980.
Michel Scheuer was a West German sprint canoeist, born in Rodange, Luxembourg, who competed in the 1950s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won three medals with a gold and two bronzes.
Csaba Giczy is a Hungarian sprint canoer who competed from the late 1960s to the late 1970s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two medals at Mexico City in 1968 with a silver in the K-2 1000 m and a bronze in the K-4 1000 m events.
Atanase Sciotnic was a Romanian sprint canoeist. He took part in the two-man and four man events at most major competitions between 1963 and 1974 and won two Olympic and nine world championships medals, including four gold medals.
Haralambie Ivanov was a Romanian sprint canoeist who competed in the mid to late 1960s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver in the K-4 1000 m event at Mexico City in 1968. Ivanov also won six medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with four golds, a silver, and a bronze. He died in Crișan, Tulcea in 2004.

Oliver Kegel is a West German-German sprint canoeist who competed from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Barcelona in 1992.
Georg Lietz is a West German sprint canoer who competed in the late 1950s. He won two gold medals at the 1958 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Prague, earning them in the K-4 1000 m and K-4 10000 m events.
Sebastian Brendel is a German sprint canoeist who has competed since 2007. Brendel is the 2016 Olympic champion in the C-1 1000 metres and C-2 1000 metres events.
