Steven J. Patterson was an American professional basketball player and coach who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for five seasons. A 6'9" center for UCLA, Patterson spent his first year of athletic eligibility as the backup to Lew Alcindor, later Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He then was the starting center for the Bruins' 1970 and 1971 championship teams under legendary coach John Wooden.
Maurice Cardale Jeffers is an American former professional basketball player. He is 6'5" in height and weighs 210 pounds. His position is shooting guard and small forward. He was selected in the 2nd Round (55th) pick in the 2001 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, but he has never signed a contract with an NBA team.

Thomas Porter Thacker is an American retired basketball player. He is the only player to have played on an NCAA championship team, an ABA championship team, and an NBA championship team.

Kristi Renee Toliver is an American-Slovak professional basketball player for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Toliver was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, United States and possesses a dual American-Slovak citizenship. She is the daughter of former NBA referee, George Toliver and Peggy Toliver. During her rookie season in the WNBA, Toliver signed an endorsement deal with Nike.

Joshua David Grant is a retired American professional basketball player. The 6'9", 223 pound (101 kg) forward graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1986 and attended the University of Utah, where he was an important player and still holds multiple basketball records. Among other honors, Grant was named to Utah's All-Century Men's Basketball Team on February 12, 2008 and was inducted into the University's Crimson Club Hall of Fame on April 8, 2008.

The 2015–16 Boise State Broncos men's basketball team represented Boise State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncos, led by sixth year head coach Leon Rice, played their home games at Taco Bell Arena and were a member of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 11–7 in Mountain West play to finish in third place. They lost in the first round of the Mountain West Tournament to Colorado State. Despite having 20 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament after declining an invitation from the inaugural Vegas 16.
