Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest.

Cluj Arena

Cluj Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It serves as the home of Universitatea Cluj of the Liga II and was completed on 1 October 2011. It is also the home of the Untold Festival. The facility, owned by the county council of Cluj, can also be used for a variety of other activities such as track and field events and rugby union games. It replaced the Stadionul Ion Moina, which served as Universitatea Cluj's home from 1919 until the end of the 2007-08 season.

Similar demonstrations took place in other major Moldovan cities, including the country's second largest, Bălți, where over 7,000 people protested.

A total of 41 counties, along with the municipality of Bucharest, constitute the official administrative divisions of Romania. They represent the country's NUTS-3 statistical subdivisions within the European Union and each of them serves as the local level of government within its borders. Most counties are named after a major river, while some are named after notable cities within them, such as the county seat.

The 2010 Supercupa României was the 12th edition of Romania's season opener cup competition. The match was played in Cluj-Napoca at Dr. Constantin Rădulescu on 18 July 2010, and was contested between Liga I title holders and Supercup defending champions, CFR Cluj and Liga I runners-up, FC Unirea Urziceni. This was the first edition of the Supercup to face the Liga I winners and the league's runners-up, since CFR won the double in 2010. The new format of the competition, in which the double winner plays the league runner-up at home ground was proposed and adopted by Romanian Football Federation the same year.
