"The Puppy Episode" is a two-part episode of the American situation comedy television series Ellen. The episode details lead character Ellen Morgan's realization that she is a lesbian and her coming out. It was the 22nd and 23rd episode of the series' 4th season. The episode was written by series star Ellen DeGeneres with Mark Driscoll, Tracy Newman, Dava Savel and Jonathan Stark and directed by Gil Junger. It originally aired on ABC on April 30, 1997. The title was used as a code name for Ellen's coming out so as to keep the episode under wraps.

DeGeneres announced it on her talk show, saying that the label would concentrate on lesser known artists and that she had been looking for videos of performances on YouTube. DeGeneres explained her choice of name, claiming that she often sees the number 11:11 when looking at her clocks, that she found Greyson Chance on the 11th, and that the singer's soccer jersey has the number 11. <i>The Masked Dancer</i> (TV series) American reality dancing competition television show

The Masked Dancer is an upcoming American reality competition television series set to premiere on Fox on December 27, 2020. Craig Robinson will host the show, and Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, and Ashley Tisdale will act as panelists. Like The Masked Singer's format, celebrity contestants will wear head-to-toe costumes and face masks that conceal their identities, but will perform alongside a "masked partner" in different dance styles. The show began as a recurring segment on Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show which spoofed The Masked Singer. In pre-production since January 2020, filming was delayed until October due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.

The eighteenth season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show began airing on Monday, September 21, 2020.
