The Guatemalan ambassador in Taipei is the official representative of the Government in Guatemala City to the Government of Taiwan.
Belize maintains 14 embassies to foreign countries, one consulate, and three missions to international organizations. In 1990, Belize became a member of the Organization of American States, and the Commonwealth of Nations in 1981.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a cabinet-level ministry of Taiwan, officially the Republic of China (ROC), and is responsible for the ROC's diplomacy and foreign relations. Established in 1877 as the Chinese Legation, the London mission was China's first permanent overseas diplomatic mission. It has served as the diplomatic mission of the Manchu Qing Empire, the Republic of China, and the People's Republic of China. It was the location of the Qing Empire's detention of Sun Yat-sen, an important episode in the Chinese revolution of 1911. It remains today the focal point for events relating to China held in the United Kingdom, including celebrations in 2012 to commemorate 40 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and the People's Republic of China.
The German Institute Taipei ; is the overseas representative office of Germany in Taiwan, which promotes the non-diplomatic German-Taiwanese relations and looks after German interests there. Tasks of the institution includes the increasing of bilateral cooperation, dealing with consular affairs like Visa or passport, providing a variety of services for German citizens in Taiwan and German-related information to Taiwanese people. In some instances, it maintains contacts with Taiwanese government on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany, acting as a de facto embassy. Institute affairs are led by a Director General, who acts as the German representative to Taiwan.
The Commercial Office of Peru to Taipei represents interests of Peru in Taiwan in the absence of formal diplomatic relations, functioning as a de facto embassy. Its counterpart in Peru is the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Peru in Lima.
