This list comprises anime titles that have been made available in the United States concurrently with its Japanese release, usually via online streaming, along with the source of the release. The list is in chronological order by season, and alphabetical order within each season.
As of this season, Hidive was established and Anime Network was shut down. Most shows previously available on Anime Network are now available on Hidive.
As of this season, Amazon folded its Anime Strike channel into its Amazon Prime Video service. All shows previously noted as exclusive to Anime Strike are now exclusive to Amazon Prime Video except for those noted in Note C.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, several series were postponed or had episodes delayed once they started streaming. Also, the great majority of simuldubs for this season were postponed.
Due to the Sony acquisition, several series that were acquired by Funimation prior to the merger migrated to Crunchyroll.
Funimation was an American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service. Launched in 2016, the service was one of the leading distributors of anime and other foreign entertainment properties in North America. It streamed popular series, such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, YuYu Hakusho, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, Black Clover, Fruits Basket, Assassination Classroom and Tokyo Ghoul among many others. The service and its parent company were acquired by Sony, who ran the service through Sony Pictures Entertainment from 2017 to 2019 and then through SPE and Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Aniplex from 2019 to its closure in 2024. In 2021, Sony acquired Crunchyroll.

Aniplex of America, Inc., or Aniplex USA, is an American entertainment company founded in March 2005 and located in Santa Monica, California that serves as the American distribution enterprise of Aniplex, an anime and music production company owned by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, where its goal is to reinforce the parent company's licensing business in the North American market. They operate the English language version of the Aniplex+ store, and from 2013 to 2017 operated a streaming service called Aniplex Channel through their website. The company most of the time only directly releases its titles in the Americas, however, some of its titles have been released in other territories by other distributors, such as Anime Limited, MVM Films, Siren Visual and corporate siblings Crunchyroll UK and Ireland and Crunchyroll Store Australia.

VRV was an American over-the-top streaming service launched in November 2016 by AT&T and the Chernin Group. Owned by Crunchyroll, LLC, run by Sony through a joint venture between Sony Pictures and Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Aniplex, the service bundled together anime, speculative fiction, and gaming-related channels aimed at fans of such content.
The second season of the My Hero Academia anime television series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki, with Yōsuke Kuroda handling series composition, Yoshihiko Umakoshi providing character designs and Yuki Hayashi composed the music. Like the first season, it adapts Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga series of the same name from the rest of the 3rd volume through the end of the 8th volume over 25 episodes. It covers the "U.A. Sports Festival", "Vs. Hero Killer", and "Final Exams" arcs, with the exception of episode 13.5 (recap) and chapter 70. The season aired from April 1 to September 30, 2017, on ytv and NTV in Japan.

The fifth season of the My Hero Academia anime television series was produced by Bones and directed by Kenji Nagasaki and Masahiro Mukai, following the story of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga series of the same name from the 21st volume through the end of the 26th volume. It covers the final parts of "Pro Hero" arc, "Joint Training", "Meta Liberation Army" which temporarily shifts the title of the series to My Villain Academia, "Endeavor Agency", and the origin of "Paranormal Liberation War" arc. Like the previous three, the season ran in two consecutive cours and aired from March 27 to September 25, 2021, on ytv and NTV.
