Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr., known professionally as Alden Richards, is a Filipino actor, TV host, product endorser, ambassador, businessman, entrepreneur, and recording artist. Richards is dubbed as the Asia's Multimedia Star after winning the 2019 Seoul International Drama Award, Asian Star Prize award equivalent to best acting award, held in South Korea. His notable works include Tween Hearts, One True Love, Carmela, The Road, Imagine You and Me, Victor Magtanggol, Hello, Love, Goodbye and The Gift. He is also known for his role as Lakan in the reboot series of Encantadia. During the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2015, Richards won his first Best Actor award for his portrayal of José Rizal in Ilustrado.

Denise Ysabel Barbacena is a Filipina singer, comedienne, actress, and popularly known as finalist of the first season of the reality show, Protégé: The Battle For The Big Break, a reality search contest, created by GMA Network as an official protégé of Gloc-9.

<i>Ismol Family</i> Philippine television series

Ismol Family is a Philippine television situational comedy series broadcast by GMA Network. Directed by Dominic Zapata, it stars Ryan Agoncillo and Carla Abellana. It premiered on June 22, 2014 on the network's Sunday Grande sa Gabi line up replacing Picture! Picture!. The series concluded on November 6, 2016 with a total of 125 episodes. It was replaced by Tsuperhero in its timeslot.

Maine Mendoza Filipino actress, comedienne, host, and model

Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza better known as Maine Mendoza, is a Filipino actress and television personality. She is best known for her viral Dubsmash videos and her role as Yaya Dub in the noontime reality show Eat Bulaga! segment "Kalyeserye", previously aired on GMA Network and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. Her rise to fame is often described as phenomenal and unconventional due to the unscripted forming of AlDub love team in Eat Bulaga! on July 16, 2015 where she was paired with Alden Richards. AlDub is a portmanteau of Richards' first name and Mendoza's character in "Kalyeserye".

<i>Sunday PinaSaya</i> Philippine television show

Sunday PinaSaya is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by GMA Network. Hosted by Ai-Ai delas Alas, Marian Rivera, Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo, it premiered on August 9, 2015 on the network's Sunday Grande sa Hapon line up replacing Sunday All Stars. The show concluded on December 29, 2019 with a total of 226 episodes. It was replaced by All-Out Sundays in its timeslot.

AlDub fictional characters

AlDub was a popular pairing in the Philippines which first appeared in the Kalyeserye portion of the "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the variety show Eat Bulaga!. They were also called as the "phenomenal love team" due to their rise in popularity after they were accidentally paired on the July 16, 2015 episode of the Problem Solving portion of "Juan for All, All for Juan" which later became the first episode of Kalyeserye. AlDub was derived from a portmanteau of the tandem's character names in Kalyeserye, namely Filipino actor Alden Richards, who portrays a fictionalized version of himself, and Yaya Dub, portrayed by Dubsmash personality and actress Maine Mendoza, who initially does not talk and interacts through lip-syncing.

Sebastian Benedict Granfon Arumpac, also known by his nicknames Baste Granfon and Bae-by Baste, is a Filipino child actor and television host. He is the youngest host in the present roster of presenters of the longest-running noontime variety show Eat Bulaga!

It was replaced by Encantadia in its timeslot.

Encantadia is a Philippine television drama fantasy series broadcast by GMA Network. The series is based on a 2005 Philippine television series of the same title. It served as a reboot and the fourth television series in the Encantadia franchise. Directed by Mark A. Reyes, it stars Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez and Glaiza de Castro. It premiered on July 18, 2016 on the network's Telebabad line up replacing Poor Señorita. The series concluded on May 19, 2017 with a total of 218 episodes. It was replaced by Mulawin vs. Ravena in its timeslot.

Addy Raj Indian actor, model and singer

Adhiraj Gaur, popularly known as Addy Raj, is an Indian actor, singer, model and former track athlete living in the Philippines. He is best known for appearing in ABS-CBN's I Love OPM in 2016. He later transferred to rival network GMA and was offered a lead role in the TV series Meant to Be, a romantic-comedy drama. He portrays the role of Jai Patel, an Indian suitor to Billie Bendiola, in the show.

Kim Michael Last is a Filipino-British actor, dancer and endorser. He is known as the youngest member of the all-male dance group That's My Bae on the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga!.
