Party of the Hungarian Community political party

The Party of the Hungarian Community , formerly known as Party of the Hungarian Coalition, is a political party in Slovakia for the ethnic Hungarian minority. It was led by Pál Csáky, until the parliamentary election of 12 June 2010 where it failed to acquire 5% of the popular vote, the threshold necessary for entering the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Its votes went largely to Most-Hid, a new party led by former SMK leader Béla Bugár. In response, Csáky and the whole party leadership resigned.

National Assembly (Hungary) parliament of Hungary

The National Assembly is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 members elected to 4-year terms. Election of members is done using parallel voting; involving single-member districts and one list election; parties must win at least 5% of the popular vote in order to enter the list of members of the assembly. The Assembly includes 25 standing committees to debate and report on introduced bills and to supervise the activities of the ministers. The Constitutional Court of Hungary has the right to challenge legislation on the grounds of constitutionality. The assembly has met in the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest since 1902.

The Alliance of Free Democrats – Hungarian Liberal Party was a liberal political party in Hungary.

Pál Schmitt is a Hungarian Olympic fencer and politician who served as President of Hungary from 2010 to 2012.

LMP – Hungarys Green Party Hungarian green-liberal political party, founded in 2009

LMP – Hungary's Green Party is a green-liberal political party in Hungary. Founded in 2009, it was one of four parties to win seats in the National Assembly in the 2010 parliamentary election. The party is a member of the European Green Party.

Lajos Bokros Hungarian politician

Lajos András Bokros is a Hungarian economist, who served as Minister of Finance from 1995 to 1996. He was a Member of the European Parliament for Hungary in the 2009–2014 session. He was the leader of the Movement for a Modern Hungary, which he founded in April 2013, and sat in the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament. The Bokros package was named after him.

Hans-Peter Friedrich German politician (CSU)

Hans-Peter Friedrich is a German politician of the Christian Social Union (CSU) who has been serving as a member of the German Bundestag since 1998. Under the leadership of Chancellor Angela Merkel, he served as Federal Minister of the Interior (2011-2013) and as Minister for Food and Agriculture (2013). Friedrich resigned from that position in February 2014. Friedrich has a controversial history with minorities in Germany, causing outrage in 2013 after telling journalists that Islam in Germany is not something supported by history at any point.

Tamás Deutsch is a Hungarian politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Hungary. He is a member of Fidesz, part of the European People's Party. He was a member of the Hungarian Parliament between 1990 and 2009 and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports between 1999 and 2002.

Péter Szijjártó Hungarian politician, member of the National Assembly of Hungary since 2002

Péter Szijjártó is a Hungarian politician, who has been Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade since 23 September 2014. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In June 2012 he was appointed to State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of the Prime Minister's Office.
