This is a list of pastoral visits of Pope Francis . His visit to the Philippines in January 2015 included the largest papal event in history with around 6–7 million attendees in his final Mass at Manila, surpassing the then-largest papal event at World Youth Day 1995 in the same venue twenty years earlier.

Holy See–South Korea relations refers to the relations between the Holy See and the Republic of Korea. The Catholic Church in South Korea is the fastest growing Church in East Asia. According to statistics, as of December 31, 2017, the number of Catholics in Korea was 5,813,770. It amounted to 11.0% of the total population of South Korea. The total number of Catholics in Korea has slightly and consistently been increasing since the 1950s.
Pope Francis visited North America—Cuba and the United States—from 19 to 27 September 2015. It was his first state visit to both Cuba and the U.S., as well as the third official papal visit to Cuba and the seventh to the United States since the U.S. established full diplomatic relations with the Holy See in 1984.
Pierbattista Pizzaballa is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who has been the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem since 6 November 2020. A Franciscan friar, he served as Custos of the Holy Land from 2004 to 2016, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate from 2016 to 2020, and was made a cardinal by Pope Francis on 30 September 2023.
The Synod of Bishops for the Pan-Amazon region, commonly referred to as the Amazon synod, met in Rome from 6 to 27 October 2019. Pope Francis announced on 15 October 2017 that a special assembly of the Synod of Bishops would work "to identify new paths for the evangelization of God's people in that region", specifically the indigenous peoples who are "often forgotten and without the prospect of a serene future".
Rex Andrew Clement Alarcon is a prelate of the Catholic church in the Philippines. He is the Metropolitan Archbishop-elect of Cáceres, with its seat at Naga, Camarines Sur. He succeeded Rolando Tirona. He was appointed by Pope Francis to be the Archbishop of Nueva Cáceres on February 22, 2024, replacing the retiring Archbishop Rolando Tirona. Prior to appointment, he served as Bishop of Daet. Until his installation as Archbishop of Caceres, Alarcon will continue to lead the diocese of Daet as apostolic administrator.
Pope Francis's visit to Iraq took place between 5 March and 8 March 2021. The visit was accorded on following an invitation of the Government of Iraq and the Chaldean Catholic Church. The visit was remembered as an attempt to mend bridges between the different faiths in Iraq. During this first ever journey to Iraq by a Pontifex, Pope Francis visited the cities of Ur, Baghdad, Najaf, Qaraqosh, Erbil and Mosul.

Pope Francis's visit to Mongolia took place between 31 August and 4 September 2023. It was the first visit by a pope to Mongolia, which as of 2023 had just 1,500 Catholics, from a total Christian population of 42,859 as of 2020.
