Nadia Ali is a Pakistani-American singer-songwriter. She rose to fame in 2001 as the frontwoman of the house act iiO with their single "Rapture". [1] With iiO, she released the studio album Poetica . [2] She left the group in 2005 to embark on a solo career, while the group continued to release album featuring her on vocals most notably the 2011 studio album Exit 110. [2]

Contents

Her first release after leaving the group was a collaboration with Armin van Buuren titled "Who is Watching" released on his 2005 album Shivers . [3] She released her solo album Embers in 2009. The first single for the album was "Crash and Burn", which she wrote herself. [4] Ali wrote all the songs on the album herself except "Promises", which was written by Paul Bosko. [4]

Ali has gone on to become an oft-requested vocalist in electronic dance music and has released songs with DJs such as Sander van Doorn, BT and Morgan Page. [5] [6] [7] Songs included in this list are from her studio albums and collaborations with other recordings artists on their respective albums and non-album singles.

Ali gained prominence in 2001 as the frontwoman and songwriter of the band iiO after their debut single "Rapture" gained significant success in Europe, most notably the United Kingdom, where the song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart in November 2001. Their 2006 single, "Is It Love?", reached the top of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart.

Betsie Larkin is an American vocalist, songwriter and guest writer/vocalist based in San Francisco, California, United States. Her first EDM collaborations with Ferry Corsten, "Made of Love" and "Feel You", appeared on Corsten's album Twice in a Blue Moon. Soon after its release, the single "Made of Love" made the top 40 in the Netherlands. In 2008 it was voted the fifth track overall on Armin Van Buuren's radio program A State of Trance, number one on Above and Beyond Group Therapy Radio, and reached the number one position on Corsten's Countdown's 100th episode. "Made of Love" was the second single and the first vocal track to be released from the Twice In A Blue Moon album. There is also an official video. Larkin joined Corsten as his tour kicked off in Malaysia and has joined him for numerous shows all over the globe.
