Isfahan Province, also transliterated as Esfahan, Espahan, Isfahan, or Isphahan, is one of the 31 provinces of Iran. The city of Isfahan is the provincial capital. It is located in the center of the country in Iran's Region 2, whose secretariat is located in Isfahan.

He is the founder of the Islamic Azad University of Falavarjan, Isfahan, and was its president from 1985 to 1992. This branch of the university now has in excess of 4,000 students across more than 10 fields of study. It has a high number of female students.

It is considered to be the one of leading educational institutions in the country and has 14 approved doctoral programs, 45 master's programs, 38 continuous bachelor's programs, and 6 non-continuous bachelor's programs. It is one of the few remaining IAU branches that takes The Iranian University Entrance Exam for admission every year in June.
