Digital Manga is a California-based publishing company that licenses and releases Japanese manga, anime, and related merchandise in the English language.
Antique Bakery is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fumi Yoshinaga. The slice of life series follows the lives of four men who work in a pâtisserie. It was originally serialized in the manga magazine Wings from 1999 to 2001, and collected into four tankōbon volumes published by Shinshokan; a spin-off dōjinshi series has also been produced.
Libre Inc., formerly known as Libre Publishing from 2006 to 2016, is a Japanese publishing company owned by Animate. Libre primarily publishes yaoi and teens' love manga and light novels, which are run in their magazines Magazine Be × Boy and Be × Boy Gold. The company was founded on May 8, 2006, after Biblos closed in April 2006, when their original parent company, Hekitensha, filed for bankruptcy.
Lily Hoshino is a Japanese manga artist. She is known for her extremely cute art style featured in her many published manga, some of which are boys' love (BL) series.
Ten Count is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rihito Takarai, serialized in the manga magazine Dear+ from 2013 to 2017. Two video game adaptations of the series have been produced. An anime film adaptation by East Fish Studio and SynergySP is set to premiere in 2023.
Given is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. It has been serialized in the bimonthly manga magazine Chéri+ since 2013, and has been collected into eight tankōbon volumes by Shinshokan. The series follows a group of four students in an amateur rock band, and the dual romantic relationships that form among them: between electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and vocalist Mafuyu Satō, and between bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.
Grizzly, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio. It is the first studio to produce boys' love or BL anime exclusively.
Blue Lynx is a Japanese anime label and subsidiary of Fuji TV. Founded in 2019, the label produces boys' love (yaoi) anime films exclusively.
Twittering Birds Never Fly is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kou Yoneda. A sequel to Yoneda's previous one-shot stories Don't Stay Gold (2008) and Though They Drift, They Do Not Sink, But Nor Do They Sing (2009), it has been serialized in the boys' love (BL) manga magazine ihr HertZ, formerly known as HertZ, since August 2011. The manga was adapted into an anime film trilogy produced by Blue Lynx and animated by Grizzly beginning in 2020. It also inspired an original animation DVD (OAD) adaptation of Don't Stay Gold and an ongoing audio drama produced by Frontier Works.
No Touching At All is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kou Yoneda. No Touching At All was serialized in the quarterly yaoi manga magazine Craft from 2007 to 2008. The book was followed up with a one-volume sequel spin-off titled Even So, I Will Love You Tenderly. A live-action film adaptation of No Touching At All was released on May 31, 2014.
Rihito Takarai is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. Takarai started her career illustrating covers for novels in 2004 and later debuted as a manga artist in 2007 with Seven Days. She also publishes shonen manga under the pseudonym Octo.
Seven Days is a Japanese manga written by Venio Tachibana and illustrated by Rihito Takarai. Seven Days was serialized in the quarterly yaoi manga magazine Craft from 2007 to 2009. The story was released in two parts: Seven Days: Monday-Thursday and Seven Days: Friday-Sunday. A live-action film duology adaptation for both books was released in 2015.
The Kuroneko Kareshi series is a Japanese yaoi manga series by Ayane Ukyō under the pseudonym Aya Sakyō. The Kuroneko Kareshi series was serialized in the bimonthly manga magazine Dear+ since 2012.
Yes, No, or Maybe? is a Japanese yaoi light novel series written by Michi Ichiho and illustrated by Lala Takemiya. The stories are serialized in the quarterly magazine Shōsetsu Dear+ since 2013. Shinshokan have published three volumes, three side stories, and two spin-off volumes since November 2014 under their Dear+ Bunko imprint. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the series in English for North American release. An anime film adaptation by Lesprit premiered on December 11, 2020.
Ayane Ukyō is a Japanese manga artist. Since 2010, Ukyō also publishes yaoi manga under the pseudonym Aya Sakyō (左京亜也).
Caste Heaven is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Chise Ogawa, the yaoi pseudonym of Shigeyoshi Takagi. It was serialized in the monthly yaoi manga magazine Magazine Be × Boy since March 2014. A mobile game based on the manga was released in 2019 in Japan.
Awkward Silence is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated Hinako Takanaga. It was serialized in the monthly yaoi manga magazine Magazine Be × Boy from September 2004 to September 2016.
The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tomoko Yamashita. It was serialized in the monthly yaoi manga magazine Magazine Be × Boy from March 7, 2013, to December 7, 2020. A live-action film adaptation was released on January 22, 2021, and an anime television series adaptation by Zero-G aired from October to December 2021.
Therapy Game is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Meguru Hinohara. Therapy Game is centered on Minato Mito and Shizuma Ikushima, two characters that were previously introduced as secondary and minor characters in Secret XXX, Hinohara's debut work from 2016. It was serialized in the monthly yaoi manga magazine Dear+ from November 14, 2017, to October 12, 2018. Following Therapy Game's end, a sequel titled Therapy Game: Restart is serialized beginning on October 12, 2019.
Candy Color Paradox is a Japanese manga series by Isaku Natsume. It was serialized in the yaoi manga magazine Dear+ from December 14, 2010, to May 14, 2012. The series was later renewed and published in the Spring 2014 issue of Chéri+, where it continues to be serialized irregularly. A live-action television drama adaptation was broadcast from December 15, 2022 to February 10, 2023.
