Lokomotīve Daugavpils, also known as Lokomotiv Daugavpils, is a Latvian motorcycle speedway team based in Daugavpils who race in the Polish First League (2nd division).

Stadium

Stadium Lokomotīve (former name Spīdveja centrs) is located at Jelgavas iela 54, Daugavpils. Its capacity is 10,000 seats. The track is 373 metres long and has a granite surface. The track record was set by Grigory Laguta (66.65 sec on 2 May 2010)

Daugavpils Republican city of Latvia

Daugavpils is a city in south-eastern Latvia, located on the banks of the Daugava River, from which the city gets its name. It is the second-largest city in the country after the capital Riga, which is located some 230 kilometres to its north-west.

FC Daugava

FC Daugava is a Latvian football club, based at the Daugava Stadium, in the city of Daugavpils. They play in the Latvian Second League in 2015 and are one of two clubs representing the city. They are also one of two clubs with the name Daugava and should not be confused with FK Daugava Rīga.

The 2007 Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia was the eighth race of the 2007 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on 25 August in the Latvijas Spīdveja Centrs stadium in Daugavpils, Latvia.

The 2003 Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the 3rd FIM Speedway World Cup season. The Final took place on August 9, 2003 in Vojens, Denmark. The tournament was won by Sweden and they beat Australia, host team Denmark and Poland, Great Britain in the Final.

The 2008 Speedway Grand Prix of Latvia was the eighth race of the 2008 Speedway Grand Prix season. It was held on August 30, 2008, in the Latvijas Spidveja Centrs in Daugavpils, Latvia. The Grand Prix was won by Jason Crump from Australia, it was his second GP win of the season.
