The Agency for French Education Abroad, or Agency for French Teaching Abroad,, is a national public agency under the administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France that assures the quality of schools teaching the French national curriculum outside France. The AEFE has 495 schools in its worldwide network, with French as the primary language of instruction in most schools.
The Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, usually referred to as the Lycée or the French Lycée, is a French co-educational primary and secondary independent day school, operated by the French Education Property Trust, wholly owned by the French Government, and situated in South Kensington in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. There is also a British Section, for GCSEs and A-levels, which students can join in year 10.
