Maharaja Krushna Chandra High School, Baripada, better known as M.K.C High School, is a high school in Baripada, Odisha. The high school was established in 1889. [1] [2] It is considered as one of the oldest government schools in Odisha.

Baripada is a city and a municipality in Mayurbhanj district in the state of Odisha, India. Located along the east bank of the Budhabalanga river, Baripada is the cultural centre of north Odisha. Gopinath Mohanty Indian (Odia) writer

Gopinath Mohanty (1914–1991), winner of the Jnanpith award, and the first winner of the National Sahitya Akademi Award in 1955 - for his novel, Amrutara Santana - was a prolific Odia writer of the mid-twentieth century. Satya Prakash Mohanty, Professor of English, Cornell University says: "In my opinion, Gopinath Mohanty is the most important Indian novelist in the second half of the twentieth century."

Suna Chadhei Mo Rupa Chadhei is a 2009 Indian Odia romantic comedy film directed by Humanshu Parija. after Nei Ja Re Megha Mate, Anubhav Mohanty & Barsha Priyadarshini paired for second time in this film. This film is a remake of the Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana directed by Prabhu Deva.

Mihir Das Indian actor

Mihir Kumar Das is an Indian film actor who works in Odia language films. He has received several awards, notably Best Actor for his films Laxmi Pratima in 1998 and Pheria Mo Suna Bhauni in 2005 and Best Supporting Actor award for his films Rakhi Bandhili Mo Rakhiba Mana in 2002 and Prema Adhei Akhyara in 2010 from the Odisha state government.

Kanhu Charan Mohanty was an Indian Odia language novelist who has authored fifty-six novels in a career spanning over six decades from 1930 to 1985. He is considered as "one of the most popular and celebrated novelists of Odisa". Mohanty was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1958 for his novel, Kaa, published in 1956, and was one of the fellows of the Sahitya Akademi. Mohanty died on 6 April 1994 at the age of 87.
