M. S. Mani may refer to:

M. S. Mani was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Tiruchirappalli - I constituency as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1962 and 1967 elections.

M. S. Mani was an Indian film director and editor in Malayalam movies. He won National award twice in 1990 and 1992 for editing the films Nakhashatangal and Iyyer The Great and Kerala State Award in 1972 for editing. He joined the film industry in 1948 and his first film was Ashaadeepam. He has edited more than 300 movies. His famous works as editor includes Kathapurushan, Vidheyan, Sargam, Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha, Anantharam and Amritham Gamaya all that went noticed at the national level. He also edited many Hindi and Tamil films. He also directed seven films, including Doctor, Sathyabhama, Subaida, Thalirukal, Vilakkapatta Bandhangal and Jalakannyaka. He was a popular Malayalam movie director during 1980s.

Kerala Congress Indian political party

The Kerala Congress is a collective name for a few regional political parties in the state of Kerala, India. The mass base of these parties predominantly consists of Christians from the southern districts of Kottayam and Idukki, immigrants in northern Kerala districts, and the Nairs from Kottarakkara and Pathanapuram in Kollam district. Mani, former Minister of Finance in the UDF-led Kerala government, who resigned in disgrace in November 2015 after he was accused of wrongdoing in the infamous bar bribery case. K.M. Mani died in 2019, leaving the Kerala Congress political formation to uncertainty. The party has its roots in the erstwhile Travancore region and is traditionally dominated by the farmers, mostly the Saint Thomas Christians.

Iruvar is a 1997 Indian Tamil epic political drama film co-written, produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film, which is loosely based on the relationship between cinema and politics in Tamil Nadu, features Mohanlal in the lead role along with Prakash Raj, Aishwarya Rai, Revathi, Gautami, Tabu and Nassar in other pivotal roles. Rai, a former Miss World, made her screen debut through this film playing dual characters. The high-budget film had its soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman and the cinematography was by Santosh Sivan. It was dubbed and released in Malayalam in the same name and in Telugu as Iddaru.

K. M. Mani Indian politician

Karingozhakkal Mani Mani was a veteran Indian politician and the chairman of Kerala Congress (M), one of the main factions of Kerala Congress, a party born in the Travancore or Central South Kerala region who focused on the interest of Kerala state's Christian farmers. He holds the records of having presented the maximum number of budgets (thirteen) in the Kerala Legislative Assembly as Finance Minister and also as the longest-serving member of Kerala Assembly.
