Machacama't͡ʃaka  is a traditionally dried meat, usually spiced beef or pork, that is rehydrated and then used in popular local cuisine in Northern Mexico (Sonora) It is also readily available in many ethnic groceries and supermarkets in these areas. In areas where the dried meat product is not easy to obtain, slow-cooked roast beef (brisket) or skirt steak shredded and then fried is sometimes substituted.

The Chocón Machacas Protected Biotope is a protected nature reserve in eastern Guatemala. It is located in the municipality of Livingston, in a densely forested area covering the lower reaches of the Chocón Machacas River basin and the northern shores of the Río Dulce-Golfete Dulce system.

The Chocón Machacas River is a river in eastern Guatemala. The sources of the 53-kilometre (33 mi) long river are on the eastern slopes of the Sierra de Santa Cruz at 15.793835°N 89.133890°W. From there it flows in a generally west-south-west direction into the Golfete Dulce. The Chocón Machacas river and Golfete Dulce complex form one of Guatemala's few remaining habitats for the endangered Caribbean manatee.
