Center Line is a city in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan, surrounded entirely by the city of Warren. The population was 8,257 at the 2010 census.
Despite having three players in the top 25 scorers(Justin Hall 26.2 ppg, Frank Gjojac 21.0 ppg and Mike Manciel 20.8 ppg), and three all-stars (Hall, Gjojac and Cameron Nichols), the team was a dismal 4-16, seventh in the east. After the season, head coach Milton Douglas was replaced with former NBA player Terry Mills.

He was a member of the Michigan Wolverines' 1989 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Men's Division I Basketball Championship winning team before playing over a decade in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Jamaal Abdul-Lateef, better known as Jamaal Wilkes, nicknamed "Silk", is an American retired basketball player who played the small forward position and won four NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. He was a three-time NBA All-Star and the 1975 NBA Rookie of the Year. In college, Wilkes was a key player on two NCAA championship teams under coach John Wooden for the UCLA Bruins. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and his jersey No. 52 was retired by both the Lakers and the Bruins.
The Bellingham Slam are a semi-professional basketball team that formerly competed for seven seasons in the International Basketball League. Before joining the IBL, they played two seasons in the American Basketball Association. They were originally expected to play in Everett, Washington, but were relocated to Bellingham, Washington under the ownership of John Dominguez. The team currently competes in the annual Seattle Pro–Am basketball tournament organized by Seattle, Washington native and National Basketball Association (NBA) player Jamal Crawford.
The International Basketball League (IBL) was a semi-professional men's basketball league featuring teams from the West Coast of the United States. In 2010 the Albany Legends became the first team in the Northeastern United States to join. The IBL also sometimes featured teams from China and Japan which temporarily relocated to the United States for the IBL season. The IBL season typically ran from the end of March through July.
The Oakland Slammers, based in Oakland, California were members of the International Basketball League (2005-) for two seasons, and completed their second season in the league in 2006. In its first year, the team finished 5-14, good for seventh in the west, and was led by Solomon Wilkins 25.9 ppg, Delonte Hoskins 17.9 ppg, Carey Williams 17.5 ppg, Larry Morinia 16.2 ppg and Jairus Michael 11.6 ppg.
The Central Oregon Hotshots were a team in the International Basketball League based in Bend, Oregon. Coached by JJ Anderson, the Hotshots had a remotely successful inaugural campaign, going 11-11. Hotshot Ashley Champion finished third in scoring at 27.4 ppg. Two other Hotshots made the top 25 in scoring as well, Steven Moss-Kelly tied for 19th with 20.8 ppg, and Jason Rogan rounded out the top 25 with 19.5 ppg.
The Eugene Chargers were a team in the International Basketball League based in Eugene, Oregon. The team was coached by Kenya Wilkins and played home games at Northwest Christian University's Morse Events Center. Founded in 2006, the team did not compete in the 2008 IBL season.
The Portland Chinooks was a professional men's basketball team based out of Portland, Oregon. They were charter members of the International Basketball League and began play in the league in 2004. They played their home games at various locations since their inception, including the Peter Stott Center, the Rose Garden, and at Eastmoreland Courts in southeast Portland. The team colors of red and black were shared with their predecessors from the NBA, the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Salem Soldiers were a basketball team from Salem, Oregon that played in the International Basketball League from 2005–07 and in 2012. Originally the Salem Stampede, they played home games in the Salem Armory, which seats 3,000 for basketball. In 2007 the team played home games in Salem's Douglas McKay High School. The team became the Soldiers in 2012 when they returned to the IBL, their final season, as the Salem Sabres entered the league the next year.
The Tri Valley Titans were an International Basketball League franchise based in Livermore, California. The Titans represented the Tri-Valley area of California, an area that also includes Danville, Dublin, San Ramon and Pleasanton, California. The team normally played its home games at Las Positas College, in Livermore. The IBL is a spring league, playing a March through June regular season.
