Market Bosworth Country Park is to the east of Market Bosworth town. Coordinates: 52°37′28.88″N1°23′35.15″W / 52.6246889°N 1.3930972°W The 35 hectares (86 acres) landscaped Country Park was formerly part of Bosworth Hall deer parkland. The park features a lake, a planted arboretum with many different exotic species, a wildflower meadow and a community woodland. The park has been award the Green Flag Award.
The park has a picnic area, lakes and fishing areas and play areas for children. There is parking on site (Pay on exit) and toilet facilities both are open 365 days of the year.
The park is home to Market Bosworth Country Park parkrun, a free timed 5km running and walking event held every Saturday at 9am.
Access off the former B585 east of Market Bosworth. Market Bosworth Country Park has wide open spaces for recreation including horse riding.

Charnwood Forest is a hilly tract in north-western Leicestershire, England, bounded by Leicester, Loughborough and Coalville. The area is undulating, rocky and picturesque, with barren areas. It also has some extensive tracts of woodland; its elevation is generally 600 feet (180 m) and upwards, the area exceeding this height being about 6,100 acres (25 km2). The highest point, Bardon Hill, is 912 feet (278 m). On its western flank lies an abandoned coalfield, with Coalville and other former mining villages, now being regenerated and replanted as part of the National Forest. The M1 motorway, between junctions 22 and 23, cuts through Charnwood Forest.

That industry has now ceased leaving Newbold Verdon as a commuter village primarily serving Leicester and Hinckley. The 2001 census recorded a population of 3,193, which had reduced to 3,012 at the 2011 census.

Coombe Country Park is a country park located in Warwickshire, England. The park is only 4.5 miles east of Coventry city centre and is managed by Coventry City Council. Blue Lake Regional Park is a public park in Fairview, in the U.S. state of Oregon. The 101-acre (41 ha) park, near the south shore of the Columbia River in Multnomah County, includes many covered and uncovered picnic areas, playing fields for sports such as softball, a cross country course and infrastructure related to lake recreation including swimming, boating, and fishing. Encompassing wooded areas, three ponds, and a wetland in addition to the lake, the park is frequented by migrating birds and other wildlife. Paved paths run through the park, which is near the 40-Mile Loop hiking and biking trail. Park vegetation includes cottonwoods, willows, and other trees and shrubs as well as wetland plants such as cattails.
Hartsholme Country Park lies about 3 miles (5 km) southwest of the city centre of Lincoln in the East Midlands of England. Access is from the Skellingthorpe Road (B1378).
Highfields Park is Grade II listed park providing 121 acres (49 ha) of public space, in the west of Nottingham, England. It is owned and maintained by Nottingham City Council. It located alongside University Boulevard, adjoining the University of Nottingham's University Park campus. Due to its proximity to the university campus to the north, Highfields Park appears to be a part of the campus itself and therefore many refer to the whole area as University Park. There are historical ties between the park and the campus. The park contains a boating lake, complete with boats to hire throughout the summer months. The cascade and the stepping stones at the western end are Grade II listed. To the south of the lake the Tottle Brook, a tributary of the River Trent, flows on the surface, this brook is culverted for much of its length. At the eastern end there are children's play facilities and a pavilion with a cafe.
Stanwick Lakes is a country park on the outskirts of the village of Stanwick and was opened in 2006. It is managed by the Rockingham Forest Trust on behalf of East Northamptonshire District Council and comprises 750 acres of former gravel pits. It is part of the larger River Nene Regional Park.
Porcupine Hills Provincial Park is the newest provincial park in the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan. It was created in 2018 through the amalgamation of five pre-existing provincial recreation sites south-east of the town of Hudson Bay. The park is in the Porcupine Provincial Forest in the Porcupine Hills, which is a geographical feature in eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba. The hills are part of a range of hills called the Manitoba Escarpment.
