A mask is a covering worn on the face, or an object depicting a face.
Lucha libre is the term for the style of professional wrestling originating in Mexico. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Tag team wrestling is especially prevalent in lucha libre, particularly matches with three-member teams, called trios.
The Angel is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist Paul Gustavson and an unconfirmed writer during the Golden Age of Comic Books, the Angel first appeared in Marvel Comics #1, the first publication of Marvel Comics' predecessor, Timely Comics.
Óscar Omar Puentes Molgado is a Mexican Luchador under the ring name El Ángel. Puentes worked under the ring name Óscar Sevilla from 1997 until 2005 where he adopted the "El Ángel" ring character. He is manly known for his work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) which he worked for until mid-2009. He current works on the Mexican independent circuit and makes regular appearances for the Los Perros del Mal and International Wrestling Revolution Group promotions amongst others and occasionally works as El Novillero.
Super Muñeco was a Mexican Luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler. Super Muñeco is Spanish for "Super Doll", a comedic ring character based on a clown. Super Muñeco is best known for having the second highest number of Luchas de Apuestas "bet match" wins, having won the mask or hair of over 100 wrestlers. Per the tradition of masked wrestlers in Mexico, Super's real name and identity have not yet been revealed to the public.
Juan Manuel Zúñiga was a Mexican professional wrestler, or Luchador as they are called in Spanish, best known for working under the ring name Ángel Azteca since the late 1980s. Zúñiga is not related to wrestlers "Ángel Azteca, Jr." and "Ángel Azteca II", instead they paid Zúñiga to use the name and image. As Ángel Azteca Zúñiga worked as an enmascarado, or masked wrestler, until losing a match against Arkangel de la Muerte in 2003 where he was forced to unmask.
Manuel González Rivera was a Mexican professional wrestler, or Luchador best known under the ring name Dr. Wagner. González made his professional wrestling debut in 1961 and worked the majority of his career for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL). As Dr. Wagner, he worked most of his career as an enmascarado, or masked wrestler, losing his mask to El Solitario in 1985. Along with Ángel Blanco, González formed one of the premier tag teams of the 1960s and 1970s called La Ola Blanca. One of his sons works as a professional wrestler under the name Dr. Wagner Jr., and another son wrestled as Silver King until his death in 2019. One of his grandsons made his wrestling debut in 2009 under the name El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. or Dr. Wagner III.
Miguel Ángel Chávez Velasco, better known by his ring name Ángel de Oro, is a Mexican professional wrestler who works for the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He is currently a double champion in CMLL, as he is the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Champion and the World Tag Team Champion, both in his first reign.
Sergio Raymundo Chávez Velasco, better known by his ring name Niebla Roja, is a Mexican luchador, who currently works for the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He previously worked as Ángel de Plata between 2008 and 2012 before adopting his current ring name. A second-generation wrestler, he is the son of retired wrestler Apolo Chávez, and the brother of Miguel Ángel Chávez Velasco, who is also a luchador under the ring name Ángel de Oro.

Daniel Nuñez Hernandez, better known by his ring name Cancerbero, is a Mexican luchador, currently working for the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Cancerbero is a member of Los Cancerberos del Infierno, under the leadership of Virus. Cancerbero previously worked as Messala for many years, forming the team Los Romanos along with Caligula. The name Cancerbero is Spanish for Cerberus, the three-headed hound, which according to Greek mythology, guards the entrance to Hell.
José Ángel Bocanegra González is a Mexican luchador, or masked professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Oficial 911. As Oficial 911 he is part of a group called Los Oficiales that has worked for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) since 2007. The team held the record for the longest-reigning Distrito Federal Trios Champions and are the most successful holders of the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship, holding it longer than any other trios team and having defended it more times than any previous champions have. Bocanegra previously wrestled as Comando Mega in IWRG as well.
Tiger is a Mexican Luchadorenmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, working for the Mexico City based professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) under the name of Felino Jr.. He was previously known by the ring name Tiger Kid, but the name was shortened in June 2011. He frequently teams with his brother, luchador Puma. Tiger's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is part of the Casas wrestling family, son of El Felino using a ring character and a mask very similar to his father and has been trained by his uncle, professional wrestler Negro Casas.
Infierno en el Ring (2010) was a professional wrestling supercard produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which took place on June 18, 2010 in Arena Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico. Previous year's Infierno en el Ring events have been held on Fridays, replacing CMLL's regularly scheduled Super Viernes show, but in 2010 the event was held on Sunday night instead. The 2010 Infierno en el Ring is the third show under that name and the 13th time CMLL have promoted an Infierno en el Ring cage match.

She is working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) portraying a ruda/heel wrestling character. Her name has appeared differently in different publications, even her employer CMLL has not always spelled her name consistently, it has appeared as Princesa Sujei, Princesa Sugey, Princesa Sujey, Princesa Sugeth, Princesa Sugehit and variations thereof.

Trauma II is a second-generation wrestler, the son of Miguel Calderón Navarro, better known under his ring name Negro Navarro. He is the older brother of Trauma I, who he regularly teams up with under the name Los Traumas.

The series was serialized online in DeNA's Manga Box app from December 2013 to April 2019, with Kodansha compiling it into twenty-one tankōbon volumes. The manga is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. A sequel manga titled High-Rise Invasion Arrive was serialized in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket website and app from July 2019 to April 2021, with seven tankōbon volumes released. An original net animation (ONA) anime series adaptation by Zero-G streamed worldwide on Netflix in February 2021.
