Matthew Dobson (born 16 December 1986) is a South African rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is hooker. He represented Griquas in the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions between 2011 and 2013, having previously played for Maties in the Varsity Cup between 2008 and 2010.

He left Griquas at the start of 2014 to continue his playing career in England. [1]
