Mercedes Stables LLC is an American Thoroughbred racing stable founded in November 2000. Substantially all of the interest in Mercedes Stables is held by Ernest W. Moody, a Las Vegas gaming entrepreneur. Mercedes Stables was majority partner in ownership of Rock Hard Ten (Madeleine A. Paulson, now Pickens, held a minority share). Among the many good horses campaigned exclusively by Mercedes Stables have been G1 winner and millionaire Seattle Smooth, G2 winner Indian Ocean, track record holder and stakes winner Indian Way, and homebred G3 winner Run It.

Rock Hard Ten

Rock Hard Ten is an American thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Co-owned and bred by Madeleine Paulson, widow of Allen E. Paulson, the dark bay horse stands over 17 hands. He was sired by Kris S., out of the Mr. Prospector mare Tersa.

Seattle Smooth is a thoroughbred mare bred in Kentucky by Dr. Oscar Benavides in collaboration with Darley Stud. Seattle Smooth's dam is the unraced mare, Our Seattle Star, by Seattle Song who was bred to Quiet American; a Grade 1 winner by Fappiano who was in turn sired by the great Mr. Prospector. Being sired by Quiet American makes her-half sister to Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner Real Quiet, who lost the 1998 Triple Crown by a nose.

The 2013 Indian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 27 October 2013 at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was the sixteenth round of the 2013 Formula One season, and the third Indian Grand Prix. The race, contested over 60 laps, was won by Sebastian Vettel, driving a Red Bull, from a pole position start. Nico Rosberg finished second in a Mercedes, with Romain Grosjean third for the Lotus team. Vettel's win confirmed him as 2013 Drivers' Champion, as Fernando Alonso could not pass Vettel's points total with only three races remaining. Red Bull also clinched their fourth consecutive Constructors' Championship.

The 2016 Belgian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on 28 August 2016 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Spa, Belgium. It was the thirteenth round of the 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship, and marks the seventy-second running of the Belgian Grand Prix and the fifty-ninth time the race was held at Spa-Francorchamps.
