Meringden is a Gaupalika (Nepali: गाउपालिका ; gaupalika) (Formerly: village development committee) located in Taplejung District in the Mechi Zone of eastern Nepal. The local body was formed by merging five VDCs Thinglabu, Santhakra, Khamlung, Lingtep,Thukima,Nalbu. Currently, it has a total of 6 wards. The population of the rural municipality is 12,548 according to the data collected on 2017 Nepalese local elections.
As per 2017, Meringden hosts a population of 12,548 across a total area of 210 km2.
Phungling Municipality is a municipality located in Taplejung District in the Province No. 1 of Nepal. The municipality was formed merging the then two Village Development Committees of Phungling and Dokhu in May 2014. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 19,085 people and 4,480 individual households.

Kerabari Rural Municipality is a Gaupalika located at Morang district. Letang Bhogateni Municipality, Kerabari, Yangshila, Singhadevi and Patigaun VDCs were incorporated into Kerabari Gaupalika. This rural municipality has an area of 219.83 sq. km. The population as of 2017 is 30,431. The current VDC Office of Kerabari is the office of this Gaupalika.
Annapurna Rural Municipality, Kaski is a Gaunpalika in Kaski District in Gandaki Province of Nepal named after the Annapurna Mountain. On 12 March 2017, the Government of Nepal implemented a new local administrative structure. With the implementation of the new local administrative structure, VDSs have been replaced with Municipal and Village Councils. Annapurna Gaupalika is one of these 753 local units.
