Michael Bowering

Michael Ernest Bowering [1] (25 June 1935 – 25 April 2015) [2] was Archdeacon of Lindisfarne [3] from 1987 [4] until 2000. [5]

Bowering was educated at Barnstaple Grammar School; Kelham Theological College; and York St John University College. After curacies in Middlesbrough and New Earswick he held incumbencies at Brayton and Saltburn by the Sea. He was a Canon Residentiary at York Minster from 1981 to 1987. [6]

Stephen Cottrell Church of England bishop, Archbishop of York

Stephen Geoffrey Cottrell is a Church of England bishop. Since 9 July 2020, he has been the Archbishop of York and Primate of England — the second most senior bishop of the church and the most senior in northern England. He previously served as Bishop of Reading, 2004–2010; and as Bishop of Chelmsford, 2010–2020.

Anthony Michael Arnold Turnbull is a Church of England bishop. He was ordained in 1961 and in 1988 he was consecrated as the Bishop of Rochester. In 1994, he became the Bishop of Durham until he retired in 2003. In his retirement, Turnbull continues "preaching and teaching and writing".

Timothy John Bavin is a British Anglican bishop and monk. He was the bishop of Anglican Diocese of Johannesburg from 1974 to 1985. He was then Bishop of Portsmouth from 1985 to 1995.
