Millburn is an area in Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Millburn Academy is situated in the area. The area is also known, as the name suggests, for the Mill Burn which runs through the area. Millburn Road which runs parallel to the school is one of the main access roads into the centre of Inverness from the A9. The area is also famous for Millburn distillery, which used to produce Scotch whisky. Part of the distillery still remains as a restaurant with a purpose built Premier Inn alongside There is a comprehensive school called Millburn Academy.

Millburn is an unincorporated community in Newport Township, Lake County, Illinois, United States. Millburn is located at the junction of U.S. Route 45 and County Routes A10 and A14; it borders Lindenhurst to the west and Old Mill Creek to the east. It is 5 miles (8.0 km) south of the Illinois-Wisconsin state border and 10 miles (16 km) west of Waukegan.

Millburn Academy is a six-year secondary school in Inverness, Scotland. It serves the portion of Inverness east of the River Ness along with rural areas to the south of the city, with a catchment area that includes the primary schools of Crown, Daviot, Drakies, Inshes, Raigmore and Strathdearn. The school runs parallel to the 'Mill Burn' which was originally used for a Whisky distillery. The distillery is now gone and has been replaced by a chain hotel.

The Millburn distillery was a producer of single malt Scotch whisky that operated between 1807 and 1985. Its whisky was an important component of the "Mill Burn" vatted malt.

Millburn High School

Millburn High School is a four-year public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades in Millburn, in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Millburn Township Public Schools. The school enrolls students from the township of Millburn, including its neighborhood of Short Hills. The school was honored with National Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence in the 2007-08 school year and was named the top-ranked high school in the state in the September 2008 and 2010 issues of New Jersey Monthly.
