Millu (Aymara for a kind of salpeter / light brown, reddish, fair-haired, dark chestnut, [2] [3] Quechua for salty, [4] hispanicized spelling Millo) is a mountain in the Wansu mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,100 metres (16,732 ft) high. It is situated in the Apurímac Region, Antabamba Province, Oropesa District. Millu lies southwest of Puka Urqu and northwest of Mina Q'asa. [5]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is located in the Apurímac Region, Abancay Province, Circa District, and in the Antabamba Province, El Oro District. It lies southeast of a mountain named Sunturu.
