Mohsenabad (Persian : محسن اباد‎, also Romanized as Moḩsenābād; also known as Muhsinābād)^[1] is a village in Garakan Rural District, in the Central District of Ashtian County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 545, in 121 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Garakan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Ashtian County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,224, in 1,134 families. The rural district has 12 villages.
