Season 1 of the reality competition series Mongolia's Got Talent premiered in June 2015 and was broadcast in September 2015.
On the first round about 2100 contestants entered and 104 contestants were advanced to the second round. The first round began in July 2015 and was broadcast on September and finished in October 2015.
The 104 winners of the judges round was picked by the judges without a contest and 32 contestants was entered the Semi Finals. But a group named Tsohiur Hogjmiin Chuulga was eliminated by own discussion so judges picked Erdene Nandinzaya who was eliminated at the second round.
The 32 contestants that qualified from round 2 will face each other in groups. The semi-final contains 4 groups and each group contains 8 contestants. The contestants with the most votes automatically advance for the final round and with the second and third most voted contestants will picked by the judges. The winner of the judges choice will qualify for the final round. If the judges choice draws the most voted one will be advanced.

The second season of Swedish Idol premiered in August 2005 and continued until its grand finale on 2 December, when 17-year-old Agnes Carlsson from Vänersborg was crowned winner. The series was the first to crown a female Idol and is to date the sole season to be won by either a public or judges' wildcard contestant. Of the over 120 Idol winners worldwide, Carlsson is one of only three who gained a place in the finals as a judges' wildcard. The others are 2003 Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm and 2007 Australian Idol winner Natalie Gauci. Carlsson has since become the most successful recording artist in the show's history.
The Voice of Mongolia is a Mongolian reality talent show that aims to discover new singing talents. The first season, premiered on January 21, 2018 on Mongol TV. The series is part of the franchise The Voice and is based on a similar competition format in the Netherlands, The Voice of Holland. The series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. It is part of an international series. The winner receives ₮100,000,000 ($38,000) amount of a record deal with Universal Music Group's Mongolian official representative, Mongol Content LLC, and a Nissan Qashqai. Otgonbayar Damba (Otgoo), Bold Dorjsuren (Bold), Ulambayar Davaa (Uka), Ononbat Sed (Ononbat) are the coaches. Each team of singers are mentored and developed by their coach. In the second stage, coaches have two of their team members battle against each other by singing the same song, with the coach choosing which team member to advance. In the final phase, the remaining contestants of a team, compete against each other in live broadcasts. The television audience helps to decide who advances. When one remains for each coach, the four contestants compete against each other in the finale.
The 6th season of Last Comic Standing began airing in May 2008. This competitive reality show on NBC was hosted by Bill Bellamy and a new co-host, Fearne Cotton. The contest was won by Iliza Shlesinger from Dallas, Texas.
Germany won the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, which was held in May 2010 in Oslo, Norway. The country's entry was selected in a series of competitive heats and a national final – Unser Star für Oslo – which was organised jointly by the public broadcasters ARD and NDR and the private television channel ProSieben, together with the three-time Eurovision participant for Germany and music producer, Stefan Raab.
Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Que me quiten lo bailao" written by Rafael Artesero. The song was performed by Lucía Pérez. The Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) organised the national final Destino Eurovisión in order to select the Spanish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. The national final consisted of two heats, a semi-final and a final and involved 24 competing acts. Three acts and nine songs ultimately qualified to compete in the televised final where an in-studio jury first selected one song per act to advance to the second round. In the second round of voting, a public televote exclusively selected "Que me quiten lo bailao" performed by Lucía Pérez as the winner.
Slovenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Verjamem" written by Vladimir Graić, Hari Mata Hari and Igor Pirkovič. The song was performed by Eva Boto. Slovenian broadcaster Radiotelevizija Slovenija organised the national final Misija EMA 2012 in order to select the Slovenian entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Two finalists selected through the talent selection Misija Evrovizija competed in the national final where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, each finalist performed three songs and the top two entries were selected by a four-member jury panel and a public vote. In the second round, "Verjamem" performed by Eva Boto was selected as the winner entirely by a public vote.
Soñando por Bailar 2012 was the second season of Soñando por Bailar, an Argentinian reality show broadcast by El Trece. Unlike the first season, this time the contestants were professional dancers and every week they received a score from 1 to 10. The winner of the show got the chance to dance in Bailando 2012.
O Ses Türkiye is a Turkish reality singing competition and local version of The Voice. It started on October 10, 2011. O Ses Türkiye is presented by Acun Ilıcalı.
The first season of The Final 1 premiered on MediaCorp Channel 5 on 24 April 2013. It is a Singaporean reality-singing competition programme created by the director of Hype Records Ken Lim. The judges were singer-songwriter Taufik Batisah, singer-actress Kit Chan and Ken Lim. Fly Entertainment artiste Vanessa Vanderstraaten was employed as the host of the show. Class 95FM radio personality Mike Kasem later joined the show as the second host, and hosted the finals together with Vanderstraaten.
X Factor is an Italian television music competition to find new singing talent; the winner receives a € 300,000 recording contract with Sony Music. Before the start of the auditions process it was announced that Morgan and Mika would be confirmed as judges and mentors, whilst Victoria Cabello and Fedez have been chosen for replacing Simona Ventura and Elio in the role; also Alessandro Cattelan returned as host. The eighth season has been airing on Sky Uno since 18 September 2014.

Israel participated in and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The Israeli broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan) collaborated with the commercial broadcaster Keshet and Tedy Productions, which organised the reality singing competition HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion to select the singer. The winner of the Israeli national selection was Netta Barzilai, and a committee of the Israeli broadcaster internally selected the song "Toy" for her.

SPOP Sing! is a Chinese singing reality competition broadcast by Mediacorp Channel 8. Season 1 premiered on 9 August after the broadcast of National Day Parade and ended on the live finale on 4 November at Padang.
The seventh season of the series Show Me the Money, known as Show Me the Money 777, premiered on September 7, 2018 and ended on November 9, 2018. It is on broadcast every Friday at 23:00 KST on Mnet.
Israel participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the entry "I.M" performed by Michael Ben David. The Israeli broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan) collaborated with the commercial broadcaster Reshet in order to select the Israeli entry for the 2022 contest. The fourth season of the reality singing competition The X Factor Israel, which was organised by Reshet, was used to select the Israeli entry. The competition concluded with a final on 5 February 2022 that featured four finalists with potential Eurovision songs that were selected for them through a song selection round in January and February 2022. The winner was selected following the combination of the votes from a public vote and two jury groups.
The tenth season of the series Show Me the Money premiered on October 1, 2021. It was broadcast every Friday at 23:00 (KST) on Mnet. The season featured four new producer teams Yumdda and Toil, Gaeko and Code Kunst, Gray and Mino, and Zion.T and Slom.
