Hinnerup, is a small town in East Jutland, Denmark with a population of 8,464, located in Favrskov Municipality, Region Midtjylland, Jutland just northwest of Aarhus. It is more or less a suburb nowadays, connected to Aarhus by the urban tract of Søften, Lisbjerg and Skejby.

Casper & Mandrilaftalen, also known as Mandrilaftalen or Mandrillen, is a Danish Dadaist and satirical cult television sketch show that originally aired on DR2 from 1 March to 19 November 1999 across two seasons, comprising a total of 67 episodes. The Mandrilaftalen group consists of Danish comedians Casper Christensen, Lasse Rimmer, Lars Hjortshøj and Frank Hvam. Heavily inspired by British humor, the show became known for its eccentric characters and absurd sketches, leading to multiple TV critics comparing it to Monty Python's Flying Circus. The show is of a talk show format and is hosted by the character Casper, who is a fictionalization of and is played by the program's creator, Christensen. As the star of the show, Casper usually sits at his desk while satirizing the Danish media industry and interviewing fictional guests. Surreal nonsense is a recurrent characteristic of the show, an example being the character Broder Salsa, who folds carpets to resemble great state leaders and sorts capital cities by muesli. In the show, Casper also holds talent shows with fictional participants, presents episodes of fictional TV series and displays advertisements for fictional products. Rimmer, Hjortshøj and Hvam plays an array of various characters, and the show has guest appearances from other Danish comedians, the British Monty Python member John Cleese, the Danish actress Susse Wold, the rapper Al Agami, to name a few. More than 250 different named fictional characters appear in the show, with Broder Salsa, Svenne O'Lotta and Gentleman Finn being the most popular characters according to Christensen.

The show has been arranged by IFPI since 1989, and was originally called IFPI-prisen ("IFPI-Award") until 1991, when it changed its name to Dansk Grammy. It was changed to its current name, Danish Music Awards in 2001, after the American Grammy Awards registered the name "Grammy" as their trademark. In 2011, IFPI joined together with TV2 and KODA to present the awards ceremony.

Eye of the Eagle is a 1997 Danish medieval adventure film directed by Peter Flinth. Based on an original screenplay by Bjarne O. Henriksen, it takes place in Denmark during 1218. Filming primarily took place at the Asserbo Castle ruins in Denmark, Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland, and Tisvilde Strand at Tisvildeleje in Denmark. The film won five of Denmark's Robert Awards in 1998.
Journey to Saturn is a 2008 Danish adult computer-animated science fiction comedy film, directed by Thorbjørn Christoffersen and Craig Frank. It was produced by A. Film A/S and loosely based on Claus Deleuran's comic from 1977 of the same name. The film revolves around a group of Danish astronauts who journey to Saturn on a quest for natural resources.

Rudolph and Hansen were replaced in season 3 by Christine Lorentzen and Claus Elming. Rudolph returned to take Lorentzen's place as co-host from seasons 4 to 6. Lars von Triers Antichrist was the big winner, receiving both the awards for Best Danish Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematographer and a Special Award to Eidnes Andersen for sound design. Deliver Us from Evil won both the awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress while Headhunter which had come to the ceremony with the most nominations, five in three categories, left empty-handed. The documentary The Invisible Cell about The Blekinge Street Gang won the award for Best Documentary. Carsten Myllerup, Linda Krogsøe Holmberg and Jens Mikkelsen received a Bodil Honorary Award for their role in the foundation of the alternative film school Super16.
